Do we know of an expiration date for the current b1g1 code? I know the free shipping on box sets will go til Sunday night.

I've held off on any orders for the moment with all the crazy sales popping up (DD, Amazon, etc) - don't want to order a set through CH only to find a major sale on it over the next day or 2 somewhere else.

I guess nobody is ordering anything from CH right now with all those insane BF deals.

Actually I'm not buying much from the BF deals so I can buy a few more things on CH.

I purchased a couple of sets from CH w/B1G1 and paid $46.14 (and got $8 FC for what it's worth) for:

30 Rock - Season 2 (23.97)
The Invaders - Season 2 (Pre-Order - 22.17)
Get Smart 2 disk SE (Free)
Dark Knight 2 disk SE (Pre-Order - Free)

While it *would* have been nicer if these had been fulfillments I'm not displeased with the overall price as the sets come out to be less than at DD during a 25% Sale when applying the imputed value of the "free" selections to the order. The nicest part was using a January set pre-order to get another higher value pre-order free.

I probably would have purchased more except that the current box set sale at DD is calling too... :)

On a side note it took quite a long time for the CH site to load this afternoon when I placed this order. The login timed out several times before I was able to get in. Once in, the site ran a bit slower and I got a time out once when searching but checkout went OK.

I wouldn't worry too much about that. The 2 current b1g1 codes (that I'm thinking of) have been around a while (several weeks) now. Way past what I would think a "normal run" would be.

Yes, and they didn't restore the 50% discounts on many box sets. (Of course it's possible that part hasn't updated yet).

Of course... it was just now that I revisited the CH forum and thought of a boxed set I should order. Oh well...
