Can I ask any of you....how do you get B1G1 if their disclaimer at the bottom says the free can be a pre-order but NOT the non-free one?

Usually you can't take a pre-order as a free one but you can take one that is already available as the free one. The best bet is to line up some that are pre-orders that you want and match them with some titles that are already available. You're better off if you place them as individual paired orders. Every once in awhile you're able to take a pre-order as a free one but there is no rhyme or reason as to why it happens. Probably just a glitch in their system for that particular title.

I just joined yesterday by phone using the BLW code, although I don't think I'll be able to get in on this BOGO, bacause my login & password won't arrive for 4 weeks.

Hmmm, tha's weird. They used to always tell people that because they mailed everything by Media Mail. ...and sinc Media Mail can take that long, they just gave to worst case scenario to all customers (4-6 weeks).
Now Media Mail is much faster. Most of the time it takes 7-10 days for Media Mail, sometimes a bit longer.
CH also mails stuff First Class a mojority of the time now-a-days.
I would bet theat you'll have your package a lot sooner than 4 weeks.
The only way I could imagine it taking as long as 4 weeks, is if there was a processing or warehouse delay. Who knows. Please let us know when you do get them .

Well, that is certainly good to know. With a little luck, I will get my welcome package before the end of the BOGO on 9/25.

One would think they could send me my sign-on information by e-mail so I could get started buying right away......oh well.

if you setup an email address with them when you signed up you can call them and request that your account info be sent to that email address within like 5 days (that's how long it takes to get you into their system)

There's site-wide triple Fun Cash this weekend that stacks with the B1G1 Blu-Ray offer. Very tempting, but I'm still gonna hold out a few days for Free Shipping...

In my main account, I ordered KFP with two other Blu-rays, and it's no longer showing up. However, in my other account where I ordered KFP by itself, it's still showing up.

Well I was hoping for a free shipping weekend but my offer was triple funcash... Crap. Can't buy BD with funcash so I find it pretty worthless.

Free shipping on preorders, managed to get 3 sets in before I couldn't figure out how to make preorders ring up as the free one again.

Really weird. I got Forgetting Sarah Marshall BR to come up as free, but I had to put it at the top of my cart and have KFP directly underneath it. The B1G1 BR seemed to work with 60% off DVDs and free shipping. PLUS triple funcash. Order details:

Forgetting Sarah Marshall BR $0.00
Kung Fu Panda BR $29.96
Run Fatboy Run $9.18
Feast II $7.98
Shipping/Processing $0.00
Total: $47.12
Funcash earned this order $18.00

The weird thing is, this didn't work exactly the same every time I entered the cart. Sometimes it gave me an extra 15% off my order, and others it gave me free shipping. And SOMEtimes it didn't give me anything, not even the B1G1 on BR.

The Terminator makes a nice TV show at $29.96(the paid part of a BOGO). However, you'll have to pay $5.99 for shipping.

Why did this cost you $26.69? Both of these Blu-rays are $21.71 when I look at Columbia House.

Rest stop don't look back
Sarah Marshall
Poltergeist all available as free pre orders.

Also of note is the Hulk for 22.46. I'm assuming it's the incredible hulk due to release date.

EDIT: Scratch that... The other day there was no picture of it. Looks like it's the regular hulk, I thought that was already out on blu though? Crap what do I do now. I think I have the Hulk on hd dvd, so I don't need it on blu, and the other half of the order already changed to processed.

Yes, it's the Eric Bana Hulk. And yes, it was already out. But CH sometimes gets blu-rays that are already out but then they are still pre-orders with them. You have to watch for stuff like that. I would suggest you just sell it when you get it and you'll probably at least get back what you paid for it ($11.23).
