CH-Read How Screwed Up Are They?

Today I received a letter saying that they received the Dawn Of The Dead Ultimate Edition dvd that I returned & included a voucher for an alternate selection.
I had sold that dvd on Half & received an email from the buyer that he never received it. I had used a CH box to mail it. I always use a black marker to black out their name & address & put that side on the bottom. The opposite end I put the name & address & postage. I must have forgotten to black out their address & it was sent to them.

Obviously the person who processed the return did not notice the upc didn't match the Dawn Of The Dead Ult. Ed. that they offer for $9.99, nor check my order history to see that I had never ordered this dvd from them so how can I return it, & did not notice the difference between a 1 disc dvd & a 4 disc dvd set. I've sent an email to them but I'm sure there is nothing they can do about it. I just wanted to point out their incompetence to them. Not that it will do any good.

Below is their return policy which I didn't do. Notice that only purchases within the last 45 days are eligible. I guess though that dvds that haven't been purchased from them or that they even carry can be returned at any time.

To return an item, including Director's Selections, begin by clicking "My Account" located at the top right of the page. Next, select "Order History" located on the left under "Account Information." Then select the "Returns and Exchanges" link to see a detailed description of all recent purchases eligible for return (items purchased within the last 45 days). Simply select the items you wish to return and click "Submit." Then select the reason for your return and follow the instructions provided.

Isn't this post more about you screwing up? Seems like the CH worker was just trying to do the right thing giving you the return...

I'm glad someone else said it. I thought maybe it was just me.

You can use a marker to black the address out and it can still get returned to them. I always just turn the box inside out and glue or tape it back now. Same thing happened to me one time, but it was with BMG. It was a good thing on my part though.
The person who lived here before me got blacklisted from the club. I kept trying to join but got denied. Anyway, one time I sold something and they never got it. About 2 months later I got a letter from BMG saying they got the CD I sent back (even though I didn't buy it from them). They sent me a certificate to order another selection and I did. They set up a new account for me and even though I didn't get any free enrollments I can now order when a good sale comes along.

Hmmm... I wonder if that would work with CH.com?

So the moral of the story is...
Just send in all the dvds you don't want to CH and they will give you credit for them?

I just checked and couldn't find it. I'd buy in in a heartbeat, though!
