no more tax on orders to CA (maybe other states too)?

I just noticed that for my enrollment package, I was not charged sales tax and I am in California. In the past, I've been always been charged sales tax. There was also no tax charged on a fulfillment order I just placed.

This is a pleasant surprise. Wonder if this is a glitch in their system or some states like CA really won't get charged tax anymore. Did anything like this happen to anyone else?

If that happened to TX again, that'd be nice. Never understood/heard what "interest" CH had in TX for them to charge tax.

I'm in SC and got tax charged on my recent Funcash order several days ago. You are only taxed where they have a physical business so maybe some locations of CH have changed or closed. Mine started after the BMG merger so this may be a continuation of that somehow.

MrE, b2net
What states are you in?

Has anyone else in CA experienced the same thing with not getting taxed anymore on CH orders?

Yes, I live in California, and no longer get taxed on my CH orders. Like DVD NDN, if I had to make a wild guess, I'd say they stopped collecting CA tax about half a year ago.
