Tax on Shipping?
 

Since this is the first time I have used Funcash since taxes applied to my CH orders, I have never noticed this but CH taxes shipping and I thought that taxes do no apply to shipping charges or do I remember incorrectly?

shipping shouldn't be taxed...then again it may depend on the state

This subject has come up in the past and I do believe that it is legal to tax on shipping.:mad: Fortunately for me, CH stopped charging any kind of sales tax in Connecticut a couple of years ago.:)

I did a search and finally found the answer. In SC, freight charges are taxable unless they are FOB (drop shipped direct to consumer for a transaction between two companies).
