just to be safe i went in and took screenshots [full on print screen and paste into paint] on my account order history screen, and in each order

last time i had a coupon fork me over, there were no totals just all "pendings" under the order screen, this has me hopeful since i was able to see proper prices on the order summary screens and on the order history page

I might go back for another round but im doubting it, i don't want to tempt the good too much with this sale.

I'm trying to put together an order where there is no HD version of the title available. I think that I'm going to go with-

Rockford Files Season 4 $23.97
Criterion 8 1/2 FREE
Criterion Red Shoes FREE
The Mist FREE
Lust, Caution FREE-

all for under $40 shipped. Hopefully the code will last long enough to scoop up Sweeney Todd and There Will Be Blood as freebies. Thanks as always, jester.

Thanks for the tip of taking screenshots just in case.

I never realized CH was such a great deal before DVDTalk.

Same with me. I went 0/6 on online apps. I just applied over the phone earlier this week and got approved today. I did the 6 for $2.94 enrollment, so unfortunately I have to BUY 3 and GET 12 FREE.
I jumped the gun yesterday buying on another account but I couldn't pass up these awesome deals (especially getting 4 Criterions + 2 more DVDs for under $39). My email receipt said "You Saved: $163.73". I never buy my 1st selection in an enrollment just so I can take advantage of deals like these.
Thanks again jester!

Where the heck is the special edition or 2 disc or whatever of Cloverfield! What's wrong with the studios?

Since CH actually typed in this promo into the description, and actually put an end date, who is this code intended for?

Everyone is your friend when you can get them free dvds.

Wow. Too bad I'm pretty much broke. Maybe I'll sell some DVDs/CDs that have been collecting dust to place an order or two.

This is good until April 11th right?

This happens every now and then. CH will eventually update your order history with a duplicate order with the prices showing. After a couple of days, they will delete the order with the ***'s. Nothing to worry about.

Just checked my credit card for the 2 orders I made. 2 charges for $7.98 appear. That's the amount for the shipping on the 4 free titles. The titled I paid for was a preorder, so I wasn't billed for that yet; so all looks well with it. Hopefully we won't have another problem like the one with Amazon back in X-mas 06.

My credit card company thought something was wrong and called me to make sure all these charges were legit. I was like "shit yeah they are! Deals like this don't come every day"

Not good enough

I wish!!! I have PDFs of my screen shots from the orders I placed during the Blu-Ray B1G1 Free, I have the receipts and I also have the confirmation email -- and they tell me that if I want to order these things, I have to re-order. "Even if you get the confirmation email, that is not a guarantee of your order getting into the system."

I sent them all my documentation, and they aren't going to honor it, and they say they have no record of my orders in their system. (I ordered six orders during the Blu-Ray B1G1 with free shipping and they only processed three of them.)

I am also benefiting from them randomly changing the date on my 3-13 (free shipping and 10% off) order to 3-20, where they tried to charge me shipping on all the sets. I just kept calling back till I got a CSR who would help me and I was credited the money I was owed.

If the prices weren't so great, I would go elsewhere, there are definitely some shady business practices going on, but it's worth the effort during these times of great specials to hash it out with them until they send your order or refund whatever. Gee, I only two disputes through my credit card over the past year that I won. I guess that's not so bad if you have a load of pepcid AC on-hand. (ha ha)

KEEP EVERYTHING. I print to PDFs. That way, if they charge you $480+ for a Star Trek Complete Series that you bought with Fun Cash for $236 (true story), at least you can get your money back through your credit card with a dispute.

Gotta love these deals though.
