Outstanding order I didn't place for a DVD I've never heard of

Good afternoon,

This afternoon I found an outstanding order from 5/7 in my order history for "Stomp the Yard", a pre-order. I didn't place this order, and I've never heard of the movie. I also don't believe I've pre-ordered any DVDs in the past save for "Pan's Labyrinth". I've e-mailed customer service to ask that the order be removed.

Has anyone else experienced this before? It's like totally random, so I don't think someone has hacked my account (it would be incredibly dumb to break into someone else's account and pre-order a DVD, IMO).

Thanks!

I had an order for 4 dvd's that magically appeared in my account. It was for movies I had ordered a month earlier. The funny thing is they were being held because I hadn't paid the invoice for the first 4 (new account). I called and emailed CS to cancel the order. They told me they would try but they couldn't guarantee it. I told them the order was being held until I paid for the first 4 so they should be able to cancel it. Again they said they would try. Well, they sent me a late notice for the first 4. I sent it back saying I wasn't going to pay until they cancelled this other order I didn't place because I didn't want them to ship it. After I sent that in, they shipped out the order a week a later even though I still haven't paid the invoice for the first order. I've sent the order back via return to sender and I refuse to pay my acct balance until they credit me the return. This experience and the one with receiving the wrong Pan's Labirynth has turned me off to CH.

Seriously? A pre-order as a monthly selection? That's just odd. But, no, I think I've declined every director's selection e-mail I've received.

Check out this thread, a bunch of us had an outstanding order for a directors selection we denied, most of us just called and it was taken care of http://forum.dvdtalk.com/showthread....9&page=1&pp=25. It's the same date as you said and most were either for Pans or Stomp so I'm assuming thats what this is.

Thanks -- that's exactly the info I was looking for. I should have done a search before starting a new thread but didn't expect anyone to have the EXACT EXACT EXACT same problem.

AZJeepDude I had the same situation, same title ordered on 5/07 which I declined on the website. My order status was "awaiting stock" so I contacted customer service via email and the order was canceled within 48 hours. If you do get the DVD you can always refuse it.
