Question about CH enrollment

Just signed up using the C89. Ordered 6 titles, went to pay, and an error message keeps popping up that my credit card has been declined. I've tried three different cards, all with plenty of funds, and I get this message - yet, above the decline notice, I have...

Thank you!
Your receipt will appear on the next screen. We will send you an invoice with your selections.
In addition, the initial card I used has been charged. Didn't get an email or anything, though. Does it sound like my order did go through?

^ Is it a temporary charge or an actual charge? There is a big difference. If you get an actual charge for the correct amount it is highly likely that your application was processed and approved. A temp charge could just be an automatic test by the website to see if the card is valid and does not mean that the application was processed or approved.

I've never seen the error message about a credit card being declined so I don't know what's going on. Perhaps the Columbia House computers had a problem linking to their credit card verification system.

I think it's a temporary charge:

POS DEBIT COL*HOUSE VIDEO CLUB 800-262-2001 IN $2.94
But if it were, why would the card then be declined?

I have no idea what the glitch is.
