The default "50% off Director's Cuts and SE's" and "$5.95 Summer Steals" are both still valid with this code though, meaning you can put any of those items in your cart and not have to pay regular price for the first DVD in order for the Funcash offers to be valid.
The $5.95 specials only give $2.00 in funcash for some reason.

It is giving double funcash and free shipping. No 60% discount on other titles. a great deal for getting a boxed set and getting a title free.

BIG1 with 802366 is not working for me either. I have an unfulfilled account. Will try it again in the morning...I've seen this before and suspect it will work in the morning, or another similar code will be released soon anyway...

Remember, there is a 1-2 day window when CH offer codes may or may not work properly - or as described in the banners since they are switching over to the next codes. That's usually on Tue/Wed - sometimes on Mon/Tue - depending on the last set of offers' exp dates.

With my new unfulfilled account, 802366 doesn't seem to offer the Criterions or Pan's Labyrinth SE as the free title, no matter how expensive the qualifying title/set.

It's also only giving me double fun cash, even with 3 or more titles.

I am getting free shipping (but not on the box sets of course).

movieguru, while it's not bad of course, I'm not sure why this is such a good deal on one-box one-free titles, since the free titles appear to be limited, and since shipping is still charged on the box set...not trying to nitpick, just wondering what your thinkging is here...? Trying to decide whether to jump on this with The Pedro Almodovar Collection or not.

OK, now 802366 is showing $20 in FC with a $100 set discounted to $49.95 and two $7 sets...weird...doesn't seem consistant, and it's hard to know how the fulfillment requirement is changing things.

I guess we're getting accustomed to Buy 1 get 1 free codes now. It's the same as all the buy 1 get 1 codes that have been frequent on here for several months now; but with double funcash it makes it just a little bit better. Free shipping doesn't come with the b1g1 too often. I've tried it with $19.95 sets and you can get some criterions or other higher priced dvd's free.

Also all the clearence items are double funcash too; so if you pick a $4.95 title you'll get $4.00 in funcash on a fulfilled account. If you work the funcash when they have the glitches, $1 in funcash can equal $1 in real cash like with the recent glitch on the box sets with free shipping.

And addting the $7.48 (discounted) Frank Herbert's Dune Special Edition Director's Cut ups FC by $8 more, even though this is the 4th title, which shouldn't offer more than three...

(sorry I keep adding new posts, I'm not sure how we edit our posts here anymore?)

EDIT: OK, seems we can do this with IE7, but not the firefox browser...? Odd...

Thanks for taking the time to reply, movieguru. That reasoning makes sense. We are spoiled.

One question: are YOU (or others) able to get criterions as a freebie with the $19.95 sets and THIS code? I still don't seem to. TIA.

It worked with the Hamlet criterion; but I didn't try the others as I already have all of them from CH

The condition for making B1G1 deals work (in other words, the criterion for getting a Criterion ) is usually based on the list price of the titles involved. Some sets that cost ~$20 at CH have a MSRP of $39.95, others might list for $29.99. You need to buy a title with an equal or higher list price than that of the free title you're getting.

I was thinking of a good way to say it, but legend42 beat me to it and has it perfectly. I used a B1G1 code once when I purchased the 3-disc edition of Wizard of Oz. It cost me only $29.97 but the set listed for $49.92 -- thereby being pricey enough to score a free Criterion title that listed for $34.95 (The Red Shoes).

legend42 and Dane Marvin,

I'm aware of that restriction. That's why I noted "regardless of the price of the qualifying set involved."

Oddly, even with a $100 set discounted between $60 and $50, the Criterions weren't posting as free this time. Hence my request for other data points.

I did get the unlikely-available-for-enrollment 2-disc SEs of Dreamgirls and Flags of Our Fathers, so I'm good to go for now.

Several of them are expiring tonight.

Of particular interests are 802365 and 802366 - no mention of it, but Free S&H is on 3+ DVDs.

The Free S&H also works on the $5.95/$6.95, 50% SEs & CLEARANCE SPECIALS. Although the "Triple FC" is only Double for those 3 categories.

Is the tripple funcash on 802366 working all I get is double on any given title?

Doesn't appear to be right now. Even the $5 pre-order one doesn't work yet.

I barely made the dead-line myself for those "Summer Special" specials. They've switched over to a "Up to 50% off Box Sets" sale.

802366 is going to be money in the bank if that triple FC goes into effect. I will be all over that. CH could be getting all the $ from this paycheck that I've set aside for DVD spending -- but only if that triple FC is added on to the B1G1/free shipping.

Tested it today and it still only gives double with free shipping. it's still not a bad deal but I'd hate to order right now and have the code work the next day.

I could figure it out if I had the time to sit down and do it, but do any of you know what would be a better deal...

1.) B1G1 unlimited + Triple FC + Free Shipping
2.) B1 get 60% off unlimited + Triple FC + Free Shipping

Since you don't accrue FC for FREE titles, I'm basically asking if the 40% more off that you would get using the B1G1 code usually equates to a better deal in the long run than getting triple FC on every DVD in your order. Of course, we all know there are times when FC is significantly more valuable than normal, as with the recent $23.95 boxset glitch. I wished that I had a ton of FC saved up when that happened.

FWIW Dane, that's the question I was asking too.

I did one open account with the triple FC offer, 60% off add'l, and 10% off entire order (but no free shipping) earlier this week to build up $42 in funcash, in the hopes that another glitch might come along.

With this other membership, I did the B1G1 as per my above post, netting just $12 in FC, but getting two spendy, likely never-available-for-enrollment titles for free.

The thought was that this might be a nice way to "hedge my bets." I'll close the new account with $12 FC as soon as the fulfillments ship, and leave the $42 FC account open in the hopes of other glitches to come.

I'm not holding much hope on those 2 codes being "fixed". Nothing in the details mention anything about extra FC. I expect the banners to be changed within the next day or so.

Then again, maybe CH will "surprise" me again?

Well, I think I've got it sort of figured out. But there isn't a B1 get 60% off unlimited with Triple FC & Free SH that is active right now, so it doesn't matter. But for what it's worth in the future, here is what I've figured. The example I'm going to use is with the same DVD purchased over and over again (Ghost Rider 2-Disc Ext Edition). For FC purposes, we are using a fulfilled account (which is regularly accrued at $2 per purchased DVD before codes).

---------------

Order #1
Code Used: B1G1 Unlimited / Free SH / Double FC or Triple FC on 3+ titles
(same Code as Order #1)

Ghost Rider Extended Cut $24.95
Ghost Rider Extended Cut FREE
Ghost Rider Extended Cut $24.95
Ghost Rider Extended Cut FREE

Total: $49.90
FC Earned: $12

-----------------

Order #2
Code Used: B1 get 60% off unlimited / Free SH / Double FC or Triple FC on 3+ titles

Ghost Rider Extended Cut $24.95
Ghost Rider Extended Cut 9.98
Ghost Rider Extended Cut 9.98
Ghost Rider Extended Cut 9.98

Total: $54.89
FC Earned: $24

Is the $12 extra FC in Order #2 worth the extra $5 of your real money? Sometimes -- like when there's a FC glitch -- it certainly seems like it. And of course, the more titles you buy in one order, the better deal #2 will seem since you double the amount of FC you would earn compared to Order #1.
