My Story....help ?
I've had one previous CH account and cancelled it when I bought the 2 fulfillments I had to, that was a while back though. I was planning on opening other accounts and canceling them when they were fulfilled. I used the better code at the time and never got a reply back (Web app). Then after trying countless times and never getting a reply, I got one like a month after my last application. The only problem is, I'm getting charged for a DVD that was originally on my enrollment package, the mail however never mentioned which app. got accepted and what DVDs I was getting.
Well, I never got my enrollments and sent a complaint to CH but never got a reply. I got charged for a DVD I didn't order (not the DS) and never got my free DVDs. I'm guessing there must have been a glitch ? Is there any way I can get those enrollments or at least see what the hell happened ?
Here's the notification I got:
Thank you for recently applying to the Columbia House DVD Club.

I never knew my account number or what DVDs I was getting and never got them anyways. All they did was send me a couple of DVDs (Casino, LA Confidential) which I had to pay for. Heck, LA Confidential never got to me either. Any advice ?

Try calling and explain the situation again.
If you can't get through (lots of us have been having this problem lately), email them over and over until they reply with an acceptable resolution. Wait 3 days between sending the emails if you don't get a reply.
CH is a pain in the ass sometimes, but mostly things are pretty smooth. I feel for ya, I'm currently still waiting for Double Indemnity which I pre-ordered over a month ago. It's never going to arrive, but I have to wait until this Friday (their 4 week shipping limit) before I can get another one mailed out. By the time I actually get the dvd, it would have been out for almost 2 months. How's that for a pre-order? I'll never pre-order again.
