Weinstein Studios added to CH?
 

Am I crazy, or did CH not previously carry Weinstein Studios movies (Scary Movie 4, Matador, Lucky number slevin)? Today was the first time I noticed them on the site.

No, they haven't been available before, but thanks for the heads up. Another studio added to CH! :up:
They also have The Libertine (with Johnny Depp).

They have been in the system for a while, but none of them were available for any purchase, I was wondering if they would ever show up.

I wonder how long these will take to become available for enrollment. Something else to track, cool. :)

Yeah I thought it was a nice surprise this morning. Also I've noticed Wolf Creek and Derailed, which I hadn't seen before.

They also have Hoodwinked and Transamerica which are already available for enrollment. Looks like it'll be a 3 month wait on this studio. :)

Cool, I was hoping to pick up The Libertine.

Good news! Now we can all use The Kill Bill uncut box set as a fulfillment when it comes out in 2025. ;)

On CH's web page on the left list under "Explore Features" is a link for "The Weinsten Company" with all of the titles available.

I sure wish the Weinsteins had been able to regain control of their Miramax (company named for their parents) releases from Disney. We will never see the old Miramax titles at Columbia House and I won't be able to get them on HD DVD because Disney is a staunch BD supporter (so far).

I see "Clerks II" available for pre-order. It shows release date as 12/05 but I believe it's been moved up a week to 11/28. Look for it to be updated by then.

I was actually a little worried CH wouldn't get it, because MGM has something to do with it too, and I thought that MGM/Fox was going to distribute the DVD, but I could be wrong.

^ Columbia House did, indeed, change the release date of Clerks II to 11/28/06.
