Thanks to you and OwlAtHome for the info. I haven't received a catalogue yet but now I know how to tell when I get one.

If you become a VIP member is it better to keep your account open, or to cancel the account and start a new one?

Got a new online enrollment code this week: 785047

You get 4 for $1 (paying by credit card) with 4 to buy. Buy a 5th for $14.95 and you only have to buy 3 more. You can get a 6th for $9.95, but it doesn't reduce your commitment. When you enter this offer online the website says 4 for $1.99 each, but you'll see when you go to check out that it is only $1 total for the 4 because you pay by credit card online. For example, if you get 5 titles at sign up, your total cost will be $15.95 (+ tax if you live in CA and some other state).

This seems slightly better than the 4 for free+5 to buy code at the very top of this thread. Here's a breakdown of each offer. Let me know if my math is off or something.

Offer One [613005]:
4 for free+$14.95+$1 S&H w/4 more to buy @ $19.95 = $95.75 / 9 = ~$10.64 per movie

Offer Two [785047]:
4 for $1+$14.95+$0 S&H w/3 more to buy @ $19.95 = $75.80 / 8 = ~$9.48 per movie

Of course, the first offer gets you one more movie, but at the cost of about $1 each movie ordered. So, it's like getting that movie for $9. You could simply make up for this by selecting your 6th movie in offer 2 @ $9.95, because then there is no shipping. Of course, if you get a free shipping code for fulfilling, this nullifies this, but I think offer two offers a tiny advantage.

Hello everyone,

I just joined the club recently and I'm wondering what are the best deals that appear. I got a 75001 (Buy 1 @ reg price get 25% off additional titles) code in the mail. Do better offers come up from time to time?

The best codes seem to be those with FREE shipping. When you read the fine print you will usually see "discounted selections do not count towards your purchase commitment".

With the above offer, only your 1st selection would count towards your purchase requirement and you would still pay shipping of $3.95. I've seen some offers that give you FREE shipping on any order over $35. That will save you $5 and reduce your purchase requirement assuming you choose 2 $19.95 (or over) selections.

A 10% off your entire order code, discounts even $21.95 titles to below $19.95 and thus they would not count towards your purchase agreement.

Upon completing your required purchases and becoming a VIP member you are usually given a B1G1 offer and it gets you 2 movies for around $27 shipped.

That was really, really easy.

Signed up last Monday with 785047. Four for $1 + one for $14.95. Once I got the confirmation, I immediately ordered my three fulfillments at $19.95 each to make sure I got the free shipping promo (now over).

$75.80 for 8 DVDs, and I got my fulfillment order Saturday and my enrollment order yesterday. Cancelled my membership yesterday on the phone. Thanks to everyone who has contributed, you can't beat the prices for Studio Ghibli releases.

Except that would've brought my cost per DVD up, and there wasn't anything else I wanted. Missed out on the pin I guess...

I just got a mailing in the past few days, and in the booklet, it has all of the disney treasures for sale, with the exception of the goofy one, which is sold out. Yet when I go online to get Silly Symphonies and Mickey Living Color V1, they aren't on the site. If I send in the order the old-fashioned way, by mail, do you think that I will receive them?

Any idea when the Little Mermaid will hit the club? I don't need to get it as an enrollment disc, but would like to get it as a fullfillment...

Matt

P.S. Any speculation about PotC2:SE and Narnia: DLX appearing at the club near release? Are all releases delayed to the club by 6 months to a year, or just some?

76880 works for 15% off + free shipping

If anyone wants The Muppet Show Season 1, that'll put it at $25.xx, which is a little better then DDD 20% sale even.

some do like the newest Dumbo I just collected that and it had the slip cover , but when i asked about the titles that were going back in the vault soon the CSR said no they didn't have the slip covers ;(

I guess you can call to verify ...
The good thing is that even if they don't come with the slipcovers you can call Buena Vista and they will ship you the slipcases once you say you have ordered the dvds from the DMC (disney movie club) ... they can ship out 4 replacements in a year ... but you need to let them know you called because the DMC gave you their number to get the slipcases.

hope that was helpful.

I was thinking of joining the DMC so I could order 2 copies of the Ducktales Movie (one for me, one for my brother), but I realized I really don't want anything else and even will all the sweet codes, it's just not worth it.

Would anyone be willing to buy 2 copies of this movie for me? I would be willing to pay the fullfillment price to help you out, plus the shipping (both ways). If you are willing to help, please email me at [email protected].

Thanks!!
