I wrote a simimlar post on how I got a pending charge of $12.89 when I signed on the web using a 7:2 code. 13 days passed and the temp charge dropped and I never recieved a package so Im pretty sure I didn't get accepted. I decided to enroll once more but this time I applied over the phone instead of using the web. I checked my bank account and noticed there was a pending charge of $13.95 placed on the 22nd. Since I live in TX this is the correct amount when you add the tax to the total. The main question I have is does every temp charge over the phone include the tax already included or do you guys usually get a pending charge of $12.89 and soon get a either a charge or changed temp charge for the correct amount with tax included. I emailed them asking them to see if they could find my account number but I never got a response.

If it is a web application then a pending charge with tax carries some weight. On the phone they charge you with tax from the get go. So no you aren't necessarily accepted yet.

On a similar note: I applied on the phone with EBP. Temp charge was $13.95 (12.89 + tax). When the real charge went through it was 15.01 though. Anyone know what the deal is?

^That's bizarre. Almost like they charged double sales tax. Wait a few days to see if a correction is made. If not then call. Or you could e-mail them at [email protected] and ask what's going on.
