Getting kicked out at webdvd site

Anybody else having trouble? I finally got my account approved, took two emails. Now, when I go to webdvd to place an order, I get kicked out after clicking on the 'see more details' link in the popup 'Save $5 on first order'...

I am also seeing the glitch on my account page, 'you have completed your obligation'. And, earlier today (before I started getting kicked out of the webdvd site) I tried to place an order but was seeing, '******' instead of the prices of the dvd's. I removed everything from my order and tried again, same thing.

I hope they get this fixed soon, I'm worried that they will kill the new B0G0 codes.

Luck everyone,
George -bub

I had a failed online app using 38Y but recently got a phone in app to go thru using 38Y.

I've seen others report a similar glitch with their new accounts. It will show it as fulfilled immediately with NO orders. Wait a couple of days. I think the codes are valid thru 3/24. Plenty of time left.

Im in no real hurry, but mines been this way for over a week, It seems like nothing is going to be done about it unless complaints are made.

Still no approval of any other applications for me, but I received a "We Miss You" email this morning and put in yet another application. If this one doesn't go through, I don't know what will.

Try calling in and ask the CSR about it.

If they can't or won't help, call in again and tell the CSR that you are "having trouble with your web account" and ask to speak with a "web specialist". If one is available, he or she can pull up your internet account and verify that the brand new account shows as being fulfilled and he or she ought to be able to fix it.

I would recommend against trying to have a CSR place an order using a BOGOF code, since the code technically hasn't been assigned to your account. Rather, just try to get the commitments adjusted.

Or you could place your order and you will probably find that the error is corrected automatically, as others have said. But the safest thing to do is to call and ask first, I would think.

Web applications have been problematic for years (although they are better for many of us in recent weeks). If you haven't done so already, try a phone application, 888-242-3837. They have a much higher acceptance rate. But one doesn't usually get an acceptance e-mail, so approval can be monitored by watching one's credit card for a charge of the correct amount.

I thought my phone application didn't go through, but I received a letter in the mail today saying that there was a problem with my credit card. I called the number they provided and was speaking to a CSR in about 30 seconds, much to my surprise. I just gave them a different credit card number and they put it in and said I'd be able to login within 48 hours. I'm phoning in applications from now on!

I applied online and had a charge for the enrollment but it disappeared and I haven't heard any word back from them. I would try to apply by phone but I can't stand talking on them. So I'll just apply for another account with some different titles and hope that one goes through.

Will a CSR track down an application that was phoned in??

lizard 03-13-06 09:35 AM

^Sometimes. Depends on the CSR. But be sure to wait until the charge has hit your credit card before trying because then you have evidence that the application was approved.
