I'm actually hoping it'll be awhile before we see some new codes. B1G1 codes weaken my willpower they do.

On the main page after you login, there is a link that says:

Looking for the offer in your mailing?

Hit that and there will be a box you can enter the code into.

807748 is still working. Combine it with the webdvd deal and it's not too bad.

the code still works thanks but the shipping is the down side ;( keep putting orders together but with shipping coming up to $12 or more plus tax it isn't worth it.

thanks though

Anyone else get the email of their "super secret sale" that's B1G1 Free and then 60 percent off unlimited DVDs?

I got that today. I don't know what the code is though. I tried the trick of stopping the browser while it's loading the page, but that never has worked for me.

Yeah, but CH is charging shipping, so no sale.

The sale offer codes have been discussed in A list of all offer codes, which is stickied to the top of the forum.

The BOGOF codes with "up to" 60% off on additional DVDs are 804488 and 804489.

I think free shipping spoiled us. A year ago, we'd be delighted by a B1G1F sale and jump at the chance. But now we expect it in combination with free shipping, which used to occur quite sparingly.

I think it is more like we need the deal. Now that they are gouging on shipping. Buy 3 box sets and shipping would be $18. It cost BMG a little over $3 to ship via media. Even if you count warehouse handling, etc it is gouging.

I knew it was going to happen when BMG bought CH. The BMG virus spread.

And it used to be $15. Big deal.

It isn't gouging when you're paying less than half per DVD (box sets included) as you would from any other retailer. You need to look at the whole picture. What other places have routine B1G1 sales going at almost all times? I just fulfilled with a box set from CH, plus a "free" Criterion DVD. The total with shipping was $46.something. The lowest online shipped price for those 2 items is $63 (35% more). And that's not counting the 7 (seven!) DVDs I got from them before that for $12.89!!

If you think it's a sign of things to come, then that's one thing (but I would still wait for it to get much worse before griping), and if your primary CH goal is to amass TV season sets, then I guess I can see getting peeved at the new shipping policy. But it's way way way unfair to use the term "gouging" when talking about any dealings with Columbia House.

Yup, but like everyone else has said, shipping kills the deal for me.

807748 is still going, but you'll have to pay for shipping.
