All six of the Universal Legacy Monster series are on sale for just $19.95 and you can get the 2 disc Kong as a freebie. My fulfillment order-

Mummy-Legacy Edition $19.95
King Kong 2 disc SE FREE
Match Point(pre-order) $19.95
Dune Extended Edition FREE
Total $39.90
Webcoupon -$5.00
Tax FREE
Shipping FREE
Total $34.90.

When I placed my order in the wee early hours today, I got the dreaded "To Be Assigned" for an order number and **** for prices. However, I just checked and I now have an order number and the price is correct.

Well, this deal sucked me in. I was going to pass on King Kong 2 DVD and wait for the likely 4-DVD extended edition later this year, but when I can get it and Ten Commandments 3-DVD for $18.71, well for about $9 I'll get it. If it's like the LOTR 2-DVD releases then the King Kong 4 DVD edition might have different extras. I didn't really need the Ten Commandments 3 DVD edition because I have the previous one and the transfers are the same. I hope I can trade it in somewhere unopened for at least $10. I looked high and low for something else I wanted more with a $24.95 regular price and $20 or less sale price, but gave up trying to find anything. The majority of DVDs I want to buy are Fox and Disney/Buena Vista, which CH doesn't carry.

Then I added a couple $16.95 preorders and free $19.95 DVDs to go with it. I was surprised it gave the $5 webdvd discount when it said I'd already used it, but that made it better. I guess the $5 discount is tied to the $30 minimum and not to a particular offer code?

I live in Connecticut and up until a few months ago, I was taxed. So far for 2006, I haven't been taxed and I'm not complaining.

For the above message, you need to log out of CH, and close the browser. Then go to your cookies and find the ones for CH. Delete them and delete from recycle bin. Then open your browser and type in columbiahouse.com/webdvd and log in. That should do it.

Okay, for the life of me, I cannot find out how to enter the codes? I am logged into my account, but cannot find anyplace to enter a code, even when going to checkout.

It has been awhile since I bought anything from ColumbiaHouse.com.

There's a link on the top part of the page, under where it lists your offer, that says something like "Looking for the offer in your mailing". Click on that link.

To answer my own question: Click on the "Looking for the offer in your mailing?" link under the Main Offer listed on your home page.

They changed the terms of the 807748 code. It now says that you get 3 FREE DVDs with the purchase of 3(it used to say that you get 2 with the purchase of 2). It doesn't say anything about free shipping. However, I added a couple of titles to my cart and the shipping was indeed free. So, it's basically the same terms as before. The good news is that it states that the code is good until April 21.

That is good news. I guess this promotion was more popular than their wildest expectations.

This problem is caused when your account times out, because you didn't log-out. This is recorded in the CH cookie. It is a glitch that CH has had years to fix and chooses not to.

I find the easiest way to reset the CH cookie is to log-in to the account then immediately log-out again. After doing this you should be able to log-in again and the account should work normally, whether on the web discount site or the regular site.

I don't think that this would count. I just added it to my cart on an unfulfilled account and there was no check mark stating that it counts towards commitment(1.0 units).

No. It has to be >= 19.95 after any discount (aside from WebDVD discount). There really are no exceptions to that rule, except that we used to be able to get 3/$25 to count as 1 fulfillment (no longer possible, however).

We also used to be able to get pre-orders sale priced at less than $19.95 to count. But that was several years ago. You are right, $19.95 or more it needs to be.

Occasionally folks have been able to get a CSR to adjust the price upward so it will count for fulfillment (but that presents a problem since they might not allow the BOGOF offer to be used). Other than that I have no suggestions for those who would like to get Ten Commandments: 50th Anniversary and have it count for fulfillment. "Special" priced items for less than $19.95 are difficult to purchase cheaply at CH. But getting two titles for $18.71 isn't too bad...
