Anyone having a problem with lost or unrecieved packages?
I had an enrollment shipment lost in December, that I didn't get for seven weeks. I had to call CS, and they shipped new ones via UPS and I got that.
Now, I haven't recieved another enrollment three weeks after it has been approved. This is looking like a bad trend and I don't want to make Columbia House angry, like I'm ripping them off or lying as I'm not but I still haven't recieved it. Anyone else have any problems? Any idea what else to do? |
I had a lost enrollment package in November/December as well.

I haven't received 2 orders this month. One was a disc that did not come with other discs in the same order(even though the receipt said it should have been enclosed) and the other was a Director's Selection(that I declined) that has yet to show up. I'm giving it until tomorrow before I email CH about it.

I had an enrollment package lost last month... I emailed them a couple times and they said it had not shipped becuase some of the items were back ordered... some of the CSR's told me it had shipped some said it was backordered. Then I received an email saying that my enrollment package was canceled because of the discs not coming in until late February. So they just canceled it. Still charged me though. I received a letter in the mail telling me I owe them 2 selections and shipping for an unfulfilled account!!! What a joke.

Overstock on the other hand lost my very first order from them...after 1 month of waiting for them to reship it I decided I would never again order from them.(and I swear it came shrinkwrapped in some type of paper bag) People sure complain about CH alot when the prices are this good I could wait 30 days average and not cry too much.... |
well, i just found out that i was approved for an enrollment i placed mid Jan, never recieved the package, and saw that there was a 27.82 charge on my card. i call them up and they tell me that it was a directors selection. so they are reshipping my enrollment package, and ill send back wedding crachers, and my buy 2 get 2, and be happy

I've never had a problem with shipments...until this month.
Both of my 2for14 orders have not arrived yet, has been 3 weeks. My recent enrollment has not showed up either, it's been 2 weeks. I'll give this until Monday and then call and see what's up. I might even file a complaint with my PO for missing mail. I hope no one is stealing my packages! |

Im in the same boat. It shows my enrollment as being shipped a few weeks ago. I also use a PO. It's just patience I guess. I've never had one missing. Though we/you may want to contact this member: themeloman Seems he kept a package that wasnt his. LOL.... JUST JOKING with themeloman!! |
I just received 2 of my 2 for 14s yesterday after waiting 3 weeks, so there is hope for some of you yet.

You can add me to the list of people receiving other members' orders. Yesterday I received a fullscreen copy of The Weather Man. I pre-ordered the widescreen edition, so I figured it was yet another case of CH sending the wrong version. I then noticed someone else's receipt for the fullscreen version.
I called to report it. Afterwards, the CSR said he had contacted the other person to alert them of the mix-up. I hope he didn't further screw up her order like he did mine. He processed a replacement, but today I found out the replacement was Lord of War. It took two phone calls today to straighten everything out. The first CSR, who was obviously from the outsourced call center, couldn't comprehend that CH was capable of mistakes, nor that a package could arrive in 24 hours. The second CSR, who was probably the most laid back CSR ever, cleared everything up. She even gave me a certificate for a free DVD. |

The good thing with mix ups are that you normally get a free movie out of it for "your trouble." Was Lord Of War cancelled off or are you still receiving that? If you still get it I would see that as a bonus...unless you really don't want it. After 30 days they have to reverse the charges if you told them you sent it back..when in reality you could have just kept it since they f-ed up. Another thing, a lot of ppl complain about the CSRs in Panama, but they are kinda good. When I worked for CH I got a lot of complaint calls with the language barrier and everything, but if you get them when you call and you ask, "do you have a buy 1 get 1 free special today?" 9 times out of 10 they will say yes to get that sale even though it's not a special. So even though it might be a little hard to understand them sometimes, you normally get perks. |
