CH Enrollment Question

I recently enrolled for a new TV account. I got the initial email saying my application would be reviewed for approval. Since then (about two weeks ago) nothing, but my credit card was charged today. Does my credit card being charged mean the account was approved?

Most likely. I'd call and find out for sure.

Did the charge go through or is it just pending? CH will always do a temporary hold to make sure that the card is good, but that doesn't necessarily mean that you've been approved. If the charge actually went through, then you're golden.:)

It's an actual charge. Guess I'm good! Thanks guys!

If you don't get the "Welcome to the Club" e-mail in the next day or two, I would call and try to find out what the account number is. Your account number will be your user name and your zip code will be your password. You can then access the site and change the user name and password. There's a buy 1 get 1 free code that is good through January 22 with free shipping on 3 or more. This is the best code to fulfill with and there are plenty of threads listing all of the details. BTW, the code is 800224.:)

Is there a quick way of getting through on the phone with them without an account number? Every attempt I make ends up ending the call. Sorry if this has been asked/answered before. I tried to search and read the threads pertaining to this.

When I enrolled, I think I entered different billing and shipping addresses (since my mailbox is kind of small). I finally got my enrollment package the other day (at my billing address). Then I noticed I had two charges in the amount of $13.82 on my credit card. And then yesterday, I received a duplicate enrollment package with all the same discs. The invoice on the second package said it was a gift from myself. Did I do soemthing wrong or is this a system glitch?

Sounds like a glitch, unless you happened to hit the place order button twice (or loaded that page twice).

You will need to call them to get it straightened out. Or you could send one package back as "Refused, Return to Sender" if you can seal it up so that it doesn't look as if it has been opened.

It looks like something similar has happened to me. I had two charges for $12.89 on my credit card although I have only opened one account recently (haven't received items yet). I am positive I only hit submit once so there must be some glitch. I guess I will just have to send one of the enrollment packages back if I end up getting two.
