Negative Funcash balance after ordering???
 

I ordered $386 of movies with my funcash balance on 12/26. I ordered 28 movies in all. My credit card was billed the $15 for the shipping.

I check my account today. I now have a negative balance of $356 in my funcash account for no reason I can understand. I also checked my outstanding orders and not only have they not shipped, but the are listed as "to be assigned" and the prices on them say "pending". It doesnt say anywhere that Funcash was used for them; but on the bottom it says "funcash earned with this order *** pending *** ". It also only lists 20 out of the 28 titles I ordered.

Anyone else that ordered with funcash late in the redemption period had problems like this?

I didn't order anything but something weird is going on. I had $6.00 in fun cash. I logged in today and it now says -$61.00 . I think things are messed up because of the year change. Hopefully CH figures it out.

Same thing happened to me, albeit for a much smaller funcash total than $386! It appears to be due to my funcash order being duplicated. I assume this is a glitch that will be fixed in due course.

In the past, we have been told that negative funcash balances have no consequences and do not have to be "repaid" before an account is closed.

I recently used all $129 of my FC on 12/30 and my account balance now says I have $-170. So, it does appear to be a widespread problem and not account specific. I'm sure CH will fix it eventually.

13. What happens if I have a negative FunCash balance?
If for some reason, such as a return of an item, you create a negative FunCash balance you may offset the negative balance by making a purchase.

I placed an order of about 20 DVD's prior to Christmas that created $120 in fun cash. They sent out about half of them along with the relative fun cash DVD's and then kept hold of the rest until I paid the balance due for the half sent.

I logged on a few days ago to pay the balance and saw that I had -$56 in fun cash.

I log on this morning to find out if my DVD's have shipped and it still says "pending", which doesn't surprise me because I keep getting that message even after they have shipped.

But I now have a negatove balance of -$249 for some strange reason

CH.com is just a bit glitchy I think. I used my $22 FC last week. This morning it said my balance was -$22, but now it's back to zero. Give them some time...

Same here.. I used up all my funcash last week and now I have a negative balance. I was worried for a second, but I am glad to see other people are having the same problem. I'm pretty sure it will straighten itself out.

used my FC on the 26th, item was pending until yesterday, now it's not even listed, and my FC went to -$69, but now I have $13 in FC (positive) and my FC order is MIA..something funky definately going on...(might also have somethign to do with a lost shipment..but..dunno)

My FC balances are back to normal now.:)

My funcash now says $0, but in under order histor, they are missing one of the movies I ordered (National Lampoons Blackball)

I placed my funcash order on Dec. 28th and still have a negative balance, though all of my movie selections are still showing. Hopefully this will follow suit like everyone else and change back to $0 in a day or so.

It's all back to normal now for me too. The other day I had $38 in funcash,which I used $35 to get Hearts And Minds, but during the next few days my balance was $-22! My FC balance now stands at $3 as it should be. Temporary glitch ;)

FYI, according to their automated phone menu, FC redemption has been extended to January 15.

I'll bet Columbia House got a LOT of phone calls about negative funcash balances and duplicate orders...

My account is back to normal also. That may be record time for CH to fix a screw up :)
