I got this, after fulfilling my accounts two days ago
I would have waited for a B1G1, but I had X-mas stuff on there, so I wanted to make sure I got it in time.

Here's a few things I noticed...

1. Unlike most other B1G1 sales, you can only get one free DVD per order.

2. Anything with a sale price can be the free selection, including some pre-orders (Bad News Bears, Four Brothers and The Island were the first I noticed).

3. Some cheaper box sets (namely Jurassic Park, The Mummy, Tremors) have a regular price of $26.XX, but have a special club price of $18.XX. Your free selection can be any regular DVD priced at $26 or less. (This is a great way to get box sets ineligible for fulfillment along with DVDs that aren't available for enrollment).

4. If you purchase a box set and you need a third DVD for free shipping, the Deal of the Day is at least a few bucks cheaper than the shipping charge. Today's deal is The Tuxedo, but Top Secret also rings up for $4.95.

Send an e-mail to [email protected] and explain that you just placed an order a couple of days ago and that you would have waited if you knew about the BOGO deal. They might give you the free DVDs. Every time that I have e-mailed them at this address and asked for an adjustment, they have always granted it. You cannot get greased if you don't squeak.

Side note: With the B1G1 / 50% deal, any of the DVDs in the "$10 or less" section will be $4.95, the same price as the Deal of the Day. It just gives you a much larger selection to choose from for free shipping.

This doesn't appear to work on my account, and I did receive the email.

I put the same 3 movies in my cart as the OP, and I get charged 11.48 for WOTW

....whoops...I see that you have to follow the link in the email for the offer to work.

So I want to take advantage of this as well since I got it through e-mail too, but for this account it will be the first online order and I want that $5.00 off. And I tried looking for the code in the web address by stopping the transfer, but couldn't find it.

After my order should I just e-mail or call and ask for the $5.00 off because I couldn't do it through the webdvd address (when I do that it says I have the regular 50% off after buying 1 at regular price)? Or can anyone find a code for this?

Thanks.

Nevermind, found it in the code thread.

I am not able to get the Jurassic Park Adventure Pack to show up as my free selection. I can get other non-enrollment titles for free (Close Encounters, Criterions) but not JP. Any advice?

This is considered a box set. You can never take a box set as your freebie.

I probably didn't phrase that well enough. If you purchase Jurassic Park for $18.XX, the freebie can be a DVD with regular price of $26 or less.

I was able to get the 2 new B1G1 codes working on my unfulfilled and fulfilled accounts even though I didn't get the email. Already had B1G1 on the fulfilled but it required 3 for free shipping.

I noticed that Ghostbusters 1&2 for $13.96 will allow you to get a free $14.95 DVD. It also nets $6 FunCash which might bump you to enough to get another free (+shipping) $14.95 DVD.

FYI, I was able to put in the BOGO w/ Free shipping on every DVD (not buy 3, get free shipping) code into my unfulfilled account and it worked. But I ended up getting a third dvd anyway.

Still, got out at $5.88 a DVD for 13 DVDs with this account. And doing the math saved over $110 off the cheapest online prices. WOOHOO!!!

I got the email on a fulfilled account. Can this only be used once per account or can i use it multiple times on the same Account. If there are 6 DVDs I want can I place 2 orders and get the BOGO offer twice on the same account?
Thanks

Awesome deal with the B1G1 w/ free shipping code. I never received the e-mails but I was still able to use it. Fulfilled my account with the following purchases:

Order #1
March of the Penguins
Grizzly Man
$21.40 (includes $1.45 CA tax)

Order #2
The Big Lebowski (SE)
Wedding Crashers (SE)
$21.40

For this account I got 11 dvds for a $5.15 per disc average. The kinda thing that makes people trample each other at Black Friday sales, but we can just sit back in the comfort of our homes and have it shipped to our door. Gotta love it.

Thanks for the heads up!
