After you sign on, you'll see your current offer at the top-center of the page. Just under this offer, you'll see a link that says "Looking for the offer in your mailing?". Click onto this link and a pop-up window will appear. Type in the code in the pop-up box and click enter and you're good to go.

Yesterday I received a BOGOF offer in an e-mail on a dormant account ("Come Back and Save with this Offer Upgrade!").

I have never been able to extract the offer code from an e-mail link. I'd appreciate it if someone who has done it recently would tell me how so I can post the code.

The code is 803077. When you click on the link in the email, you have to hit the stop button before the page loads. The online code will be in the URL address. I cannot get it to work when I open the email in my new mail. I have to open the email from my filing cabinet and then hit the stop button before the page loads and voila, I extract the code.

^Right you are, 803077 it is, thanks. First time I have ever hit the stop button and have seen the code. For the record, I use Yahoo mail (no programs like Outlook or anything like that). I was able to stop the load and get the code using Internet Explorer, but not Firefox (the browser I usually use), which I believe has been reported before.

While 803077 has been reported above by mpaul39 and mk101, it is interesting that it is a legitimate code that I actually was sent. And you too, I presume.

Not a bad deal:
(7:2/6:3 code)

6 x $.49 = $2.94

code 807752 to fulfill

3 x $19.95 = $59.85
+ 3 free
- 10%
- webdiscount of $5

= $48.86 + free shipping

$51.80/12 = $4.316/dvd

^The current BOGOF codes don't have free shipping. But, yes, they can make for a good deal.

It says free shipping but it doesn't show up in the cart, even if you buy 3

How did you get 6 for .49? Do you enter code 807752 after you enroll and how did you get 10%?
Thanks.

That's the enrollment package when using the second best enrollment codes (see - http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=355622) where you choose 6 for 49 cents each and then purchase 3 regular priced DVDs within 2 years or purchase a 7th movie when enrolling for $9.95 and only need to buy 2 more in the future (hence either 6/3 or 7/2).
Then, once you have an account number you go to www. columbia house.com/webdvd and signup/login. Once logged in you enter the 807752 code in a popup box that comes up when you click on the main page where there is a link up towards the left saying looking for the offer in your mailing. Then you place whichever titles you are interested in in your cart and the 10% off is automatic with this code and the $5 off kicks in once your total reaches $30 (excluding shipping/tax).
Note: sometimes you have to fool around with the order of the DVDs in your cart to get them to show up as free.

I just tried the 807752 code, and at the final part of the checkout, there was no free shipping. Came out to be $15-$16 bucks for s/h, so I decided to not go through with it.

Has anyone tried contacting customer service to have the shipping charges adjusted?

If you want to kill the best code that's out there, I think that would be the way to do it.

FWIW, I noticed that 806277 drops The Princess Bride: SE to $3.18. Shipping makes it not as much of a deal: $3.18 + $2.99 = $6.17. Still cheaper as an enrollment. (This change away from 99¢ preferred member shipping is a PITA.)

(And, yes, I am aware that the price drop for this DVD is because there are new SEs out.)

It appears as if the 806277 code is now obsolete.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the new codes will include a free shipping one

That "few hours" message has been up there since March ... I wouldn't hold your breath.

Actually, I'm enjoying the break from "too good to pass up" offers. With DDD's 20% off coming up (I think), my wallet can use the rest.

They haven't had a free shipping code that has actually worked in months... and, oddly enough, I haven't made a purchase in months.

When they decide to do a free shipping promotion, I have a full cart ready to go. In the meantime, I wait...
