Is it me or has shipping been alot slower?

I've joined Columbia House a few times and shipping has never taken more than a week, even for enrollment. But recently everything I order from the site takes about two weeks or more! How long does it useally take you guys to get your DVDs?

My current account has had some of the fastest shipping I've ever gotten from CH. The enrollments came in a week or less. I think they used to take about 10 days. Another package made it in about 4-5 days.

My last two packages came lightning fast (4-5 days). When I first joined my enrollment packages took 10 days from the time they shipped until they reached me.

CH has always been pretty fast for me. I usually receive everything within a week.

Wow, great for you guys! I've been ordering CH DVD's for about 3 years now and I NEVER receive them in less than 10 -14 days. In fact, if it takes 2 weeks I'm pretty darn happy. Since I mostly order when there's a free shipping deal - I don't mind the wait too much. Unfortunately, my last order tried my patience to the limit. I ordered "The Office - Complete Series & the Special" with funcash the last week of December and didn't get it until the first week of February

Might have to do with where you live. If you live in Hawaii or Alaska, media mail can take a really long time.

Yes, it can...I live in Honolulu, and I've never received anything from CH in less than 3 weeks. Sometimes it takes even longer. I usually don't order until they're offering free shipping, and I never order anything time-sensitive (like, gifts) so it's usually not a big deal having to wait a little longer.

If I need something sooner, DVD Planet and DVD Universe are always faster than CH, and as an added bonus they almost always offer free shipping on orders of 3 or more discs, or $25.00. Plus, their selections are a lot better.

It's the opposite for me lately. Last week was my fastest ever approval for a new account and the enrollment titles showed up in 8 days, fastest ever for me by about 2 days.

All of my shipments fall within 4-10 days, although I probably don't have as much experience with Columbia House than most of you guys do.

I've been getting orders more slowly on average, but mostly because they've been running out of stock more easily it seems. Raging Bull SE and Friday Night Lights being the most recent examples, not to mention Ron Burgundy SE which they eventually cancelled automatically because it took so long (as in, I never did get it).

I placed an order on Feb. 11th (with free shipping), got a shipping email on the 15th & received my package today (the 19th). That is the fastest I've ever received an order from CH. I usually don't receive my order until atleast 2 weeks after I've placed it. I live in PA.
