Buena Vista Titles Back?

I put Olive The Other Reindeer in my cart today and was shown a list of other titles bought by members who purchased olive The Other Reindeer and they all happened to be Buena vista dvds: Pollyanna, Old Yeller, Clerks, 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea, Schoolhouse Rock!, Treasure Island, Swiss Family Robinson, Chocolat Collector's Series, Amelie, Shespeare In Love, etc.

Good news. They are updating the members site now, which I am taking as a good sign. I hope Ed Wood, Trainspotting, Rounders, and My Voyage to Italy show up.

Edit: Samuel, was the Clerks you saw Clerks X or the old version?

Edit 2: Nevermind. It is the old one.

The site's up but I can't see any of the titles mentioned. Unfortunately, it may have just been someone at CH screwing up and loading some old data. Hopefully not....

You can't search for them. You need to click on the Olive DotD, and then you can see the BV titles as recommendations.

I wouldn't get your hopes up. Notice that they only show up in the 'Customers who bought this also bought these' section. So it may just be some old historical info they have that is being incorrectly accessed by that new feature.

Well, the site is all back up now, and no BV titles.

I think you just got your hopes up and wanting a special xmas gift from CH! It would've been nice.

I think it was just glitch in the website. I doubt many people have ordered Olive The Reindeer since last Christmas so the related titles from last year were still showing up. It seems CH fixed the problem since the BV titles are no longer showing up.

Isn't it odd that the recommended titles were all BV titles, though? "If you like Olive, you'll love Clerks, Amelie, and Schoolhouse Rock?"

This link showed up on my funcash receipt screen:

/sa/70/ch/product_details/details.jsp?itemID=1645921&club=3&stype=CLUB&dt=1102786653095&pin=70&bak=NONE

If I'm not mistaken, I believe that this movie is also a Disney-owned title that went away long ago.

EDIT: The link is pretty unstable. If you log into CH and paste the string shown above after www.columbiahouse.com you may see a listing for the movie "The Others". I think this is similar to the glitch we've discussed earlier in this thread. Probably just more CH weirdness.
