The Passion at CH
 

Why doesn't CH have The Passion? Is it because it retails for a bit more than other DVDs? Has anyone asked them? I am not a CH member atm, but would join again if I could get it in the initial sign up deal.

I don't think they could get a good discount deal from the distributor, so they said screw that.

They also don't have some other big titles, like the Indiana Jones and Star Wars boxsets. If they can't get a good deal on something, they won't carry it. As far as I understand it. ;)

On a side note, considering how The Passion has no special features and is a mammoth money maker, it's pretty safe to assume that a special edition or two (or three) have been planned well in advance by the studio.

CH doesnt carry any Lucasfilm titles - they don't have a deal with the studio, I suppose because they couldnt negotiate a good deal.

Interesting. Thank you. It sounds like Columbia House Canada has it. Maybe we will have it show up at some point on the US list.

At Columbia House Canada, Passion of the Christ is now available for Enrollment.

Also CH Canada has changed there sign up page and now you have around 300 titles in different genre categories to choose from.
