Will The Day After Tomorrow be available at CH?

I hope that CH is just a little behind placing this title on the website. I checked this morning and can't seem to find it. Please don't have Fox end up being like Buena Vista and Universal.

One can only hope. CH has been known lately to hold off on adding some titles to their selection until AFTER their release date - trying to boost $ a little.

I believe Columbia titles (of all things!) fall into that category.

well, i called 2 different agents, they stated that they had no idea about distribution or anything related to what movies they carry, actually they were pretty damm rude, i asked to speak to a supervisor and she basically said no, so i hung up on her.

well it looks like now univeral, and fox are no goes..WB doesn't make enough movies I like so I guess the days of CH are starting to end :(

ruk 10-13-04 05:56 PM

well i hope not, they will realize how many costumers they will probably lose

Maybe that's why we don't see these Fox titles for pre-order:

Dodgeball
I, Robot
Napoleon Dynamite

Hopefully there is still hope for Fox and Universal. At least we aren't seeing a clearance sale on those titles like we did with Buena Vista.

EL_Cangri 10-14-04 03:47 AM

They have Troy as a preorder. What is going on? :/

nrose101 10-14-04 08:18 AM

Troy is Warner Brothers

well i spoke to another agent today and she was a little bit more polite, she said that they are not curently carrying that specific title, but might in the future, so basically i assumed she did not know, oh well i give up, buying all these movies outside of columbia house is an expensive solution.
