You could try de4, which is the same as dec. I presume that you are phoning in your order, since dec appears to work ok on-line even though memberships don't seem to get approved.

Another code to try would be cxb, which is similar to dec except that the enrollments cost 49¢ each instead of being free. But, since it is structured the same as dec, it may be that this code won't be accepted either. There are many other codes like cxb, by the way.

You might want to try phoning in an order using a code like 72S, or one of the dozens of variants, and when asked for a PSN just say that you don't have it with you, that you just wrote down the offer code.

I know it sounds funny. When I tried the CD club with WXR code, I used my "current" account number (wasnt fulfilled at that time) and the app went through. But it was the last time CH had approved that code - I learnt the code is dead by now.
I would suggest to phone in app, it just take couple minutes. I have 100% success over the phone even though the two apps just 1 day apart!!!

For newbies, 72S and its many clones have been working fine on-line. Those of us who have had many previous accounts are having more difficulty opening accounts on-line using 72S and similar codes. YMMV.

Please note that you will need a PSN for these codes. You may want to open a new account by calling in the order and, when asked for a PSN just say that you don't have it in front of you. This usually has worked in the past.

You could also open an account using a mail-in offer from a magazine or just use the standard deal on-line. That first account would be more expensive than the better deals we use here, but it would give you a PSN for your next account.

Sorry this isn't simple, we used to have reliable, cheap, codes that didn't require a PSN. Now, the cheap no-PSN codes are proving problematic.

Edit: cloudnin reports the successful use of code DDL. This is similar to DEC except that it costs $2.45 more per account. So, you might try a DEC account and, if it doesn't work, try DDL. It does not require a PSN.

I had to search for this, it wasn't even on the first two pages of current threads. Not that I need it, but newbies ask this all the time. What's the point of a bargain dvdclub forum if you can't find the best code?

This forum needs more important stickies to be utilized :)

I suggest that you report your post to a moderator, using the link at the lower right, and ask them to sticky the thread. (This will get a more reliable response from the moderators than just posting in the thread.)

They might just do it. Can't hurt to ask.
