I would so love to be charged 7% tax...
because right now, were are charged a heftly 13.5% tax..
that's atleast 4.5 cdn dollars more per disc (including taxes on shipping)

*embarassed*
I'd originally thought it was straight 6% too, like the statewide tax is, but in doing my excel spreadsheets 6% was always a penny or so off and it annoyed me to no end so I had to keep tweaking it until it came correct...why they charge .005% over the state tax I have no freakin' clue.

Interesting.

Here in Texas, the base sales tax is the 6.25% (as previously reported). Local jurisdictions (county, city, police, etc) add another 2%(+/-) to that figure - at least around where I live in the Houston area.

Arkansas is 8%
I see that you have Arkansas as 9.25%, this is not accurate in my situation. I live in NW Arkansas (by Ft. Smith) and my latest DVD's, House of Sand and Fog, $19.95/$1.60 tax and The Missing, $13.17/$1.05 tax prove that Arkansas sales tax, at least for me, is 8%.
Good luck,
