I haven't used any of my points yet either, so I'm sitting on 2192 right now. I've ordered two bonus DVDs though, Casino Royale and The Last King of Scotland. I have no clue what I'm going to use my points for yet.

I actually used 700 points from the first round of offers I did to get Bambi: Platinum Edition. My total points earned is 2310.

My two bonus DVDs have been Blood Diamond and Smokin' Aces.

I wish you could sort DVDs on the site by points, that would help a lot.

I just called to cancel Today'sEscapes and ValueMax. Both very easy.

Today'sEscapes 1-800-798-0664
ValueMax 1-888-205-2257

Same process on both, completely automated and very easy. I wouldn't recommend doing it without listening, but I believe this is what I had to punch in: 1 + member number followed by # + 1 + 2 + 1 + zip code followed by #.

I signed up for freedvd4me this past weekend. I was wondering if the CH codes can be used with fulfilling that part of the deal. If anyone has input, that would be greatly appreciated.

Nevermind... sorry I am an IDIOT. The codes I were looking at were from two years ago.

Hopefully I'll be getting

Casino Royale
... so far

I cancelled the google offer over a week ago but still had a $39.95 charge post to my credit card. A phone call to them supposedly corrected it, I'll have to keep my eye on it.

Reminder to all: check your credit card statements religiously.

Same here, but the next day when I went to see if the amount was refunded, there was a 7.95 charge. I would say stay away from the Google Checkout deal if you can.

I too was hit with Google Money Toolkit charges: 39.95 for "Keywords4Success" and 7.95 for "Clickbuilder," even though I explicitly asked to be cancelled for all 3 programs and had been told it was done.

I'm calling today to have these charges reversed.

So unless you're really hard up for points, I second what supfool said: STAY AWAY FROM GOOGLE MONEY.

I also have two charges on my card from the Google offer despite canceling all three programs. I'll be calling again today and bitching until they remove the charges. Definitely keep away from this offer.

Also, I still haven't received a single DVD. I ordered my first bonus DVD on 3-21 and my first points DVD on 3-28. I finally emailed on 4-30 asking what was taking so long and they replied the following day saying they were on the way, along with a bonus DVD from 4-27. Now here we are and I still have nothing.

AWESOME! I just checked to see if there was a refund to my account for the 39.95 and 7.95 charges, and instead there was another nice little 9.95 surprise charge from google. I am loving this. I'm also in the same boat about not recieving any DVDs yet smashthesymbols.

I did. Points credited with no issue. The two Girls Gone Wild DVDs showed up about a week and a half later. I haven't called to cancel yet, it's on my list for tomorrow hopefully. Also, if you've got any prepaid cards or one time use numbers you can use them for this offer. I used a prepaid and it only placed a $1 charge. No huge temp charges or anything like some of the offers do.

Well I'm glad I'm not the only one. I'm actually starting to wonder if they'll ever send them. There's no reason something should take six weeks to arrive.

I haven't had any problems yet, but I also haven't done those offers. I always stick to the offers that are either straight up free, or only cost $1 - I forget what company those offers are with though, but you know what I mean. Most of the offers I've completed have actually credited the $1 they charge back to me after I've canceled. I'd say that I've only spent $5 out of pocket, if even that much at this point.

As for not receive any DVDs yet, I feel your pain. It was a month or so before I finally received Casino Royale. Like most of you, I just waited, but it was only after bugging the absolute shit out of them that I finally received it. Dont' feel bad about feeling pushy or rud, and feel free to email them over and over again. After you email them for the first time, don't let more than a week go by before you email them again. You'll get your DVDs eventually, I always have.

its unfortunate that there's obviously mixed experiences lately. in terms of receiving dvds, like i had posted a few weeks ago, i've had two orders arrive in a week, 3 orders took just over 2 weeks, and 1 order took around 3 weeks. i dont know about others, but i've found that their customer service is really good about about addressing concerns, whether it be missing points or delays in shipping. definitely email them if you're having a problem, and if you dont hear back in a few days, follow up with them.

regarding the google offer, i'm surprised to hear all the problems. when i called to cancel, i made sure i told them i was canceling all of the programs, as described in my post on offer instructions. i havent had any charges from them (knock on wood).

Make Money With Google – 210 points
Trial costs $1.95
There are apparently 3 different programs that you sign up for with this offer. You will be billed $9.95 monthly beginning on the 21st day after the sign up date for “Search Engine Learning Center.”, which is a live chat subscription site that gives you online help for marketing your "Clickbuilder" Website. You will also be billed $7.95 monthly beginning on the 16th day after the sign up date for “Clickbuilder”, your website subscription and hosting fee. You will also be billed $39.95 for the "Google Learning Center", you're guide to advertising on Google, on the 15th day after the sign up date for "Google Money Kit ". Call 866-652-0479 to cancel each of the programs. They do claim there is a 30 day money back guarantee if not satisfied in the T&C.

I'd be interested to hear whether you notice any increase in "interesting" junk mail (not email) going forward.

So I had someone send me their referral link to this site so I just signed up. I've scanned through some of the post here and now how the whole do offer earn points thing works. I was just curious, in the welcome email it talks about the free dvd promotion site, and their main site. Do you guys just do their main site (freedvd4me.com), or did you do the other site to (right now how has a big borat poster on it.

I did the same. I told the girl I wanted to cancel all programs I was signed up for. After a brief delay she read the three off and asked which ones, and I again told her all three. After she gave me a cancellation number I again asked if that canceled everything and if I was clear of any additional charges and she specifically told me that I would not be charged. So I'm not too pleased about those charges appearing. I'm about to call now and take care of it.

I'll certainly let everyone know if I do. So far it was just the package I expected, which was fairly discrete. The return address was just "GWG", but it did have a URL that was clearly Girls Gone Wild if anyone were to care to type it in. Regardless, I don't care. Porn is less embarrassing than the damn US Weekly I get now since Premiere ended.

I just tried calling the Google deal again to figure out what was going on with the new pending charges on my card. After 20 minutes on hold I hung up. I'll try back later.

I also called Girls Gone Wild about that offer. I was put on hold for maybe 30 seconds, then someone came on and asked for my telephone number. I gave that to them and they asked what they could do for me today. I told them I wanted to cancel any memberships I may have and that I do not want any additional videos or anything sent to my address. After a couple seconds they told me I was all canceled out. So we'll see what happens. I used a prepaid card anyway, so even if they try to send me more they can't get any money. So I'm not that worried about it. Not sure if it's been posted yet, but the number I used was 1-800-689-3666.

Same here. What a terrible experience this has been.
