He's there today.

I picked up Final destination 2 & Dark Blue.

He had many other titles as well as new video games.

I just got moved to Wall Street and went by for the first time around 1:45. It looked like he had been picked over quite a bit, but he had Bringing Down the House, Head of State, The Lizzie McGuire Movie and a few XBOX and PS2 games.

I don't remember it being there, but it had been pretty well cleaned out. I didn't make it down today, though, so I'm not sure what he has.

She had to bend over backwards to get those copies from Anchor Bay, supposedly the last of the lot that they had. Luckily J&R has a lot of buying power and was able to obtain them. I told the sales person that they were all easter gifts for friends and family She responded sarcastically by saying "I hope you make a nice profit". Hey, I did leave 2 copies.
That doesn't make any sense. J&R certainly doesn't have the buying power that Media Play, FYE, or Best Buy have. They must have just come across them through a distributor they use. I highly doubt they came directly from Anchor Bay.

BTW...Nice score! Even though the new Boomstick edition is very similar to the Ltd. Ed.

OtherAdam,

He's on BWay & John St.

captmuggy,

You certainly dug up that post.

My purchase of copies of AOD LE was way before the brown bag Bootleg and Boomstick versions. As a matter of fact I was able to purchase 50+ more copies of AOD LE after I nabbed the initial 10. Needless to say it was a very sought after OOP dvd prior to all the re-release versions. It more than funded my dvd purchases for the following year.

Army of Darkness: LE. It's out of print and for a while, there were no other releases of AOD so it was gettin' top dollar on ebay, but with the release of the boomstick edition, it's not that valuable anymore.

these guys are legit. They can show you a street vendor license. Hek, PoPo even buy DVDs from them cuz they're cheaper than retail stores.

I haven't gone there in a long time due to a stricter work schedule, but they've always charged $15 for standard DVD releases (box sets are more).

FYI - Catch them late on a Friday and they try to dump their inventory for $10 per dvd and as low as $25 for video games.

$15 for DVDs
$30 for games

He had a very limited number of xbox games. I do remember seeing High Heat 2004 and Soul Calibur 2.

He said he will be there tomorrow so as usual, if you catch him late in the day on a Friday, he may go $10 for the dvds and $25 for any games that are left over.
