I picked up Sopranos Season 2 & Mulholland Dr.
Can you tell I love this guy?
On a side note, I took the security tag out of the box because I was going into J&R down a couple of blocks away. Wouldn't you know it. Even though the alarms didn't go off I got stopped by J&R security because he saw the sopranos box sticking out of my coat pocket. The store detective started to question me as J&R staff checked their inventory. Well they let me go, but for all I know it might have originally come from J&R.

I just scrambled down there to get Sopranos Season 2, A.I. and the last copy of Oz. Amazingly I talked him into giving me all 3 for $100. He also threw in a complimentary paper bag!

Hurry, he's there today with everything marked down to compete with the last day of the NO TAX days for downtown NYC stores.
New Release Sealed DVDs that were $15 now $13
Open retail DVDs are $10
Sealed PS2 & XBOX games are $30
Opened sopranos box sets for $40
Sealed OZ 1st Season for $30
....and others
I just picked up a sealed Star Trek TNG Season 2 for $65 !!!!
This is priced much less than everywhere I've looked.

Another heads up for you downtown NYers:
I just picked up a sealed 2-disc Traffic Criterion for $15. He only had a few left. I don't think they know the MSRP on Criterions
Other stuff he has today:
Mothman Prophocies
Monsters Ball
Black Hawn Down
Vanilla Sky
From Hell
OZ Season 1
Sopranos Season 1
Godfather Box Set
Snow Days
....and a few other titles.

New Downtown Manhattan Crew?
I was passing by his regular spot today in front of Pizza Hut around 4pm and there was a new bunch of people selling DVDs. (Not sure if they're new cause I have not been down there in about 4 months) I'm not sure if they know the regular guy or not but they were selling legit DVDs for $10...or 2 for $15! New releases were still $15 of which there were only 4 titles (Jackie Brown was one of them, I can't recollect the other 3). I snagged Top Gun and V: The Final Battle for $15. I was considering getting Jerry Maguire: SE for $10 for a friend but I passed. They seemed to have one copy of 30 other titles and 3 PS2 titles. I was in a hurry so I didn't take note of the titles. They also said that the prices won't be the same tomorrow. Not sure what to make of that but it sounds like someone will be sellling some DVDs there tomorrow.
