There's *not* one for DVDs (or if there is no one ever uses it). Everyone just puts in a new thread as you did for this one.

It's quite annoying as you have to constantly check both sub-forums to keep up with stuff (I purchase DVDs as well as BRs) and there's some duplication, out of necessity, because of this. GH codes are just one example of that.

I've been posting GH sales on the DVDTALK forum for a long time now to let people know under this forum about GH sales. Do people want me to continue doing this or do most people want me to stop doing this? Thank you.

I'm happy to have you continue posting the deals here as you've been doing.

Sure, there's duplication but before I got a BR player I rarely checked that sub-forum. I'd be willing to be there are still people who don't have, or care to have, a BR player and would never see those codes in the megathread. I still check *this* area for DVD deals and it's nice to see your title spelling out the deal as I can decide then if I'm interested enough to see what the code is. With the megathread you have to read it and often a new post is someone grousing about service rather than a update with a new deal.

I should have been more clear about the "annoying" part. What annoys me is there are two threads for deals. For people like me, who purchase both DVD and BR titles, depending on title/price/deal, it can be a bit of a pain. At one time I could see a partial need/desire for that but the site seems to get so little traffic, or deal updates, and in spite of being somewhat used to the hassle, I find myself wondering why the 2 sub-forums are not merged, going back to the way it was until sometime after the format wars ended. I've accidentally posted DVD deals in BR threads because of the separation and just not noticing which part of the site I'm reading.

BobO'Link - Thank you for your positive feedback. I'll continue to post sales when I see them. Better to see a sale advertised multiple times then to miss one because it wasn't posted or someone didn't see the post on another forum. Best regards to you and to all of the DVD Forum participants.
