Thanks. That affirms the reviews I came across while looking it up at the store. For anyone interested, I did see a copy of the 2nd season as well, but I won't be in a rush to pick it up.

I would pick it up for that price. Hold on to it, ready for you when you want to watch it.

Re: Big Lots Part 11 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

Used my latest $5 off $15 coupon to pick up a few sets marked down at a store earlier in the week:

Alphas - Season 1 ($2.50, was $5)
New Girl: Season 3 ($4.00, was $8)

Odd in that these 2 shows were on a clearance shelf in another aisle with a few other DVDs and not with the regular movie display which often contains some films/shows marked down.

Re: Big Lots Part 11 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

Armed with my latest $5 off $15 coupon, I found my local store had a few new things in an otherwise similar looking display.

On DVD were:

30 Rock: Season 3 - $5, I think (failed to make it clear in my notes)
Bing Crosby Silver Screen Collection: The 1930s (9 films) - $5
The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That: Season 2 - $3
The Doris Day & Rock Hudson Comedy Collection (Pillow Talk / Lover Come Back / Send Me No Flowers) - $5 (Also the same collection on BD for $5)
Shirley Temple Darling Double Pack (Little Miss Marker/Now and Forever) - $5

Re: Big Lots Part 11 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

Stopped by my store today and there were several multi-season TV shows in the regular display. They'd be hard to miss because they're in large cases. Here's what I made note of:

These were $10:
The 4400: Complete Series
7th Heaven: Seasons 1-4
MacGyver: Seasons 1-4
Melrose Place: Seasons 1-3

These were $15
CSI: Miami: Seasons 4-6
CSI: NY: Seasons 1-3
Dynasty: Seasons 1-4
Have Gun Will Travel: Seasons 1-4
NCIS: Los Angeles: Seasons 1-4
Numb3rs: Seasons 1-4
Petticoat Junction: Seasons 1-3
Rawhide: Seasons 1-3
The Streets of San Francisco: Seasons 1-3

Strange, for sure. Then again, I've sometimes seen the same film in a display at different prices.

I considered it odd seeing it at $20 when none of the other sets were at that price point.

Odd is season sets used to sell for ten bucks each, the baseline.

Now fifteen and twenty, joy.

Well these sets have 4 seasons each which is reasonable. I'm not a fan of multiple season sets like this so I passed on them but I think the price is fair for what it is.

Nothing new at my store aside from a W.C. Fields collection (That could've been there before) and about 4 of those "Fangoria Presents" titles.

Re: Big Lots Part 11 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

Anyone see Continuum Seasons 1 and 3 on Blu-ray? I've only seen Season 2 on Blu-ray, but I have seen 1 and 3 on DVD. I highly recommend this series. Season 1 was brilliant, but the series became a little discombobulated as it went on. It was still vastly superior to much of what airs on TV anymore.

Re: Big Lots Part 11 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

I by chance seen part of Continuum season 1 and got i gues season 3 on dvd. it is like since u got no rush to have to see all in a day. but just gotta remember where u stoped or what ep u saw or just watch ea one over again try binge it till seen whole season. i have learned gran show if can cause can add to show season u got over time and if ever can rewatch or just donate later for space. i happy can score some good stuff new and worthy so not gotta check thrift and make sure cds are not ruined any. or if lucky the movie or show still sealed.

These multi season sets seem to be the ones that have been available at Walmart. I have not seen them elsewhere until these recent sightings at Big Lots.

I don't go often. My visit yesterday was the 2nd since March (we normally go once or twice a week). And there was stupidity on display as expected. A lady with a mask but pulled down. Several with it below their nose. And the usual rabble who think a mask is stupid/violates their constitutional "rights"/etc. The store wasn't crowded so I was able to avoid these type people, scope out the discs, and get the heck out. I currently have a 20% off (use anytime but by next Friday) and don't know if I'll venture back to use it or not as there's only 1 or 2 of those sets I *might* want along with some cereal and juice. Sunday morning, early, is usually a good time.

Re: Big Lots Part 11 - List your FINDS here (NO trades)

A bunch of new TV shows spotted this week for $5 (unless marked differently below). I saw:

The Andy Griffith Show: Season 1
Becker: Season 1 ($3)
The Brady Bunch: Season 1
Criminal Minds: Season 4
Criminal Minds: Season 10
Criminal Minds - Beyond Borders: Season 1
CSI: Season 1
Dexter: Season 1
Ghost Whisperer: Season 1 ($3)
Joan of Arcadia: Season 1 ($3)
Mannix: Season 1
NCIS: Season 9
The Tudors: Season 1

Also came across a few new BDs. Perhaps they've been seen before, but they were new to this particular store.

Bronson Triple Feature (Death Wish 2/3/4) - $5
Bull Durham - $3
Child's Play - $3 (the original one)
City Slickers - $3
Platoon - $3
Rocky IV - $5
