Is "House Of Lies" any good?

It's a serialized dark comedy. It's won awards and has gotten a lot of acclaim for Don Cheadle. But as far as the regular TV Talk posters goes, it's really hit or miss. I like it, but I know it's not for everyone and may not appeal to many here. I personally wouldn't blind buy it.

Nice to see House of Lies and Tyrant listed. Not as crazy about the prices, especially on HoL, but considering that those don't seem to go on sale (S2 especially) then I might pick it up.

Meanwhile I agree with what DJariya said on House of Lies. Adding that on the pro side it has Kristen Bell for fans of hers and deals with a current cutthroat advertising culture that we as an audience don't often see, depicting a lot of immoral, or barely moral, behavior which could be of interest. On the con side (for some), that means a healthy dose of morally grey, but also outright unlikable, characters dealing with a lot of problems of the rich and affluent.

I blind bought seasons 1 - 3 of "American Horror Story" when they streeted.

Have now finished 'hate watching' season one.

Minus two characters, the rest are unsympathetic. Plus tons of logic holes. Was this popular?

I hope seasons 1 and 2 improve - as in a lot.

American Horror Story is currently the highest rated program on FX. Averages around 5-6M viewers per week. It's renewed through season 5. Yes, it's popular despite some dislike and hit or miss seasons.
