I have no info aside from what's been made public, and I believe the companies I work with are solid. That said...
IF YOU WANT SOME PHYSICAL MEDIA, GRAB IT ASAP. There are some rough times ahead. I can feel it in ma bones.

1. Nobody in large entertainment conglomerates gives a shit about physical media right now. Even successful major studio films aren't getting released.

2. Everyone is in panic/layoff/cost-cutting mode

3. Anime is now major conglomerate, mostly

Sad thing is, shit still sells.

The Half Price Books in Schaumburg, IL has been taking in tons of anime lately, so much that even the clearance section was full of Gundam DVDs of various series. I was seriously tempted to start grabbing some and trying to complete some sets even though I've never really watched the show.

I guess I need to work on getting my Ghost in the Shell SAC collection done.
