MGM Limited Edition Collection $11.99 Amazon
 

Appears to be an unusually low price on most MGM Limited Edition Collection (MOD) titles from Amazon. According to the trackers, they usually fluctuate between $18-20, with two big spikes down: this one and a previous of a few dimes less.

I'm not sure how best to search for MGM MOD titles on Amazon. Neither of the following produces a full list:

Wow...amazon did a piss poor job of linking the MGM titles that are MOD. Usually, I can find a key word or two that will pull up all the MOD or whatever grouping I am looking for...not here. MGM MOD? Nope.
MGM Limited Edition. Not really....Guess the best bet is compare the titles on the WB's site for MGM films....so far, the $19.95 films there I have checked have been $11.99

The only MOD film I've ever purchased was Bobbie Joe & the Outlaw (part of this sale) The transfer looks good, and Lynda Carter has never looked better, but the cover looks like a cheap bootleg color copy... Hopefully Shout! will pick it up for a BD release.

My concern with the Mods isn't the cover art, but the cheap blank media they use & likely high speed duplication which doesn't tend to produce quality burns.

FWIW, the Warner Archive MODs have better graphic design on their spine, back and disc face than the MGM Limited Edition MODs. Beyond the front cover, the MGM are a bit drab and crude, with no attempt at a branded look. I have no idea if that says anything about any other step of their process.
