Saw it recommended when I bought The Shield. Blind buy for me, boss loves it and has raved about it for years.

Depresses me that I spent that much on 1 season. But, the packaging is kinda cheap... just discs on a spindle.

The first 2 seasons are perfection.

The first couple of seasons are a very funny mix of drama and comedy. The show is largely unwatchable after a certain point and loses a great deal of steam.

It becomes a lot more of a drama in the later seasons. I know when we talked about the show week to week, a lot of the posters complained how it turned more into a dark drama than a guy's club comedy-drama that it initially started out as.

i always marveled at Denis Leary's ability inshow to bang obscenely hot broads and never even take his pants off. although being denied his pasty scrawny irish arse may be the gift the keeps on giving.

i also bristle, at having paid this for just one season. well worth a blind buy.

Hey if I hate it I at least know who to hand it off to! I love dark dramas to that may be a plus.

You won't hate it. Despite Leary's penchant for self-indulgence it's very entertaining from start to finish, IMO.
