2. After coupon, that's only 12.50. But if you must, the shipping below $25 is 3.50. But anybody on this forum that uses that option, should not even waster their time here, in that it's really no bargain ;)

You really have to search to find the coolest stuff. Both Mr Moto boxes are included at $15.99 ea! I already have pretty much everything I'd want except the Mods. But will keep looking!

Not 100% sure, but I read it's through 11/9/2013 (Saturday). The last deal was during BF week and lasted 3-4 days. I'm hoping another FC sale of season sets like last year.

From what I remember, last year was mostly deeply discounted season sets (Simpsons,Reba,Arrested Dev,Buffy,Angel) for $6-$8

Not last year, but in 2011 they did. I was waiting for last BF to pick up the Simpsons BDs I was missing but the sale never occurred.

I just realized that myself. If you browse strictly by genre or year of release, half of what you might want doesn't appear, either because it was mis-categorized or because it was outright left off the lists. And for boxed sets, you almost always need an outright search.

A question to all: I notice that roughly half of Fox's 24-volume Film Noir series is part of the sale. Has anybody bought any of these titles during the sale? Coming straight from Fox, it occurred to me these will be the latest, cost-reduced editions, and I'm wondering if they still have the liner notes.

I just bought those Mr. Moto sets at SAM's club for $14.98 each a week ago as well as Marilyn: The Premiere Collection for $24.98.

I *did* pick up:

Fox Horror Classics Volume 1
Fox Horror Classics Volume 2
The Sabata Trilogy (never found it at BL)
The Lost World SE (Irwin Allen version + 1925 version)
The Incredible Two Headed Transplant / Thing With Two Heads (Midnight Movies Double Feature)

Not bad for ~$34 especially since all of those have been sitting in a Amazon wishlist waiting for the "right price".

The Return of Dracula / Vampire Double Feature
The Phantom From 10,000 Leagues / Beast Within a Million Eyes Double Feature

There may be more, but you have to search for title or wade through all the DVD titles.


Thinking about those horror sets. I'm trying to be a little more reserved this BF and only buy stuff I really want. So far I haven't really done any blind buys or impulse purchases, but I might crack.

Thanks for mentioning the horror boxes. I wasn't finding them on random searches. I'm close to making a purchase. A couple others that haven't been mentioned are the Vincent Price box for $13.00 & the latest Rocky Horror Blu-ray for $5.00.

Wish I knew what else to look for! Random Noir searches aren't coming up real successful.

You're welcome! I was very excited to see those at that price. I'd almost picked up both of the horror boxes a few weeks back from Amazon but held off. I'd have paid double what I did on this sale and *that* price was a "sale" price from Amazon!

As far as searching I finally just sucked it up and did a page-by-page look through everything followed by looking at the genres I wanted in the menus. I found a couple with the genre section and most through trudging through the "full" list. The full list run through is what got everything but "Lost World". That one I got from the SF film genre drop down.

I didn't see most of the $3 "2fer's". I would have tried to pick up the Dracula. Still very happy!

I did find most of the Noirs under drama. Expected to see them in classics.
