Looks like I'm gettting the new season of "Mad Men"; hope that bonus is for DVD. I'll have to wait for "Under The Dome" - I'll get that later.

I would wait on Mad Men. There will probably a big price drop in the upcoming months. AMC shows tend to get very low.

I was hoping to wait on Mad Men, but the Exclusive means I'll probably buy it on the 9th, keep the receipt and return it during the return period if they have it for a lower price.

Sorry to see Syrup not listed. I know Best Buy is showing it as $12.99 (50% off MSRP) now, but as usual I'd prefer to avoid them if I can. Hopefully they'll have it, just not advertised.

When there's an exclusive, they sometimes have different UPCs which means if you open it during your return period and then see a better price, you can't return your opened one, so your only option is to rebuy the exact same exclusive one with the same UPC and return that with the old receipt, but as exclusives with bonus discs tend to disappear soon it may not be around if you need to rebuy/return.

I'd love to have a better solution for this, but I find that the only safe way on an exclusive with a unique store-specific UPC is to not open it until the end of the return period. Having bought all of the Mad Men BD seasons for $10-$20 each in the past (and paying $20 for S5 was too much except it was part of one of those $25 on $100 GC deals), I know I won't pay more than $20 for S6.

Yeah, I've found every Blu for Mad Men for around $20 within weeks of every release.

I might spring for James Blunt's "Moon Landing" if it's packaged in a jewel case.

I still need to pick up Mad Men: The Complete Fifth Season but eventually I'll get Mad Men: The Complete Sixth Season. Depending on what's on the Target bonus disc I might get it right away.

Re: Target DVD prices (November 3rd - 9th, 2013)

Stopped at Target today and they're running a few sales in-store. The DVD and bluray multipacks are 15% off (see the banner on top of the racks), the DVDs and blus in the $5 section are $4.75, and a lot of the Christmas DVDs are on sale. I also noted that the Love Actually combo pack is $7.99. And Dragons: Riders of Berk Part 2 is on sale for $9.99 through 11/23.

I only ended up getting Blue Valentine on bluray for $4.75. There are a few multipacks that I'm interested in but I think Target will have them lower at some point.

"Mad Men: Season 6"

When there's an exclusive, they sometimes have different UPCs
Same deal here, the box set has a UPC sticker on top the normal bar code.

The bonus disc is for DVD as well; picked S6 up this morning. Had to make an exchange; discs 1 and 4 were scratched up. All mint on the exchange.

The bonus disc comes in a printed cardboard sleeve. Reads...
Bonus! "1960s Celebrity News"

It's a mockumentary titled, "Celebrity News - Year In Review". This fake broadcast is on New Year's eve 1967. It includes vintage TV commercials. It has a run time of 24:58 minutes.

Pretty sway.
