For anyone planning on buying Once Upon a Time season 2, ABC has a $10 coupon for the DVD and a $15 coupon for the Blu-ray.

(I can't post the actual links on this forum yet)

Blu for OUAT S2 is about $5-10 too much. Hoping it's cheaper somewhere else.

I'm interested in Once Upon A Time, but it would be nice to know what format the Exclusive is in.

Also interested in LA Complex: The Complete Series, which Amazon shows is coming out next week. BB's listing is weird though, with a release date of 1999 and a price of $2.49 and unavailable to order. I can't find listings at Target or WM, so I may just have to go with Amazon.

When I saw this, I ordered it. The price has been fixed, but mine shipped at the 2.49 price. Thanks!

Re: Best Buy DVD prices (August 11th - 17th, 2013)

Last year I got Community for $9.99 around Black Friday. Definitely not going to pay $25 for 13 episodes of what is considered the weakest season.

I'm going to wait until Pretty Little Liars drops below $15.

Which season?

I'm waiting for a better price on S3.

Er, you're welcome, though I'm quite jealous. Every time I checked the listing there was no option to add it to cart or order it, you must have had some lucky timing there. I wish I could have gotten a deal like that.

Re: Best Buy DVD prices (August 11th - 17th, 2013)

Picked up "Chronicles Of Narnia" (different tread) today.

Remembered to look at the CD area (my store got rearranged for that Mircosoft spot)...

My heart sank; they gutted the section. What once was a few isles is now ONE. Best Buy was the last remaining store which had a decent CD selection - not great, but decent. Gone. Now it's only the popular titles.

LA Complex: The Complete Series has been in one of the TV sections at my Target for a few weeks now. The one next to the multipack section with 10th Kingdom, Xena: S1, and several Arrested Development seasons. In fact, I think it's on sale this week for $7.99.

Thanks, but none of the 20 stores closest to me has a section with 10th Kingdom, Xena, etc. And I've actually hit 12 Target's in the last 3 days (looking for something unrelated to DVD's/BR's) and as I looked in the DVD areas I didn't see LA Complex at any of them (not that I was looking but I looked around enough that I should have seen it somewhere if it was there). Can't find it in a site search either. An online search mentions that Target had an exclusive out early. $7.99 would be a great price, especially if there is additional content, but it seems that my geographical area is not to see these.

Same. Honestly... For TV seasons... if you aren't waiting until Black Friday, or until they're down to a $15 or less ballpark, you're doing it wrong. Unless you really need to have it when it comes out to catch up or something.

Yep. No listing for 'L.A. Complex' on site and no 'Xena' or any multipacks at all in stores (3 NY locations).

Re: Best Buy DVD prices (August 11th - 17th, 2013)

Back momentarily.

Got it; the bonus disc is a DVD for "Once Upon A Time: The Complete Second Season". And I was able to price match Target's better offer - newbies, they're a double edge sword. I'm happy.

The bonus came in a printed cardboard sleeve under the slipcover, gummied on the case.

Was a bit surprised, it just reads, "The Style Of Storytelling" featurette. Once played it shows something else - additional deleted scenes. Sway. All and all, the run time is 19:38 minutes. Okay, just checked, the sticker on the slipcover also reads, deleted scenes. *shrugs*

- - -

For those curious, I saw no DVDs for "LA Complex: The Complete Series" at my store.

Curious to know, has anyone seen the 2013 WWE Money in the Bank Standard DVD in the Best Buy stores? Been to three and unless I'm missing something, I haven't spotted it yet and it was just released today.

I visited another Target yesterday in search of The Black Donnellys: The Complete Series which was OOS at the Target I was in on Sunday. I noticed that the multipack and TV sections that I mentioned were on endcaps at this store and were missing several titles (including LA Complex and a few of the Arrested Development seasons). I never realized that there was this much variation in stock between stores. Hmmm.

Received my LA Complex for $2.49 today. Hell of a deal.

I also received something from BB that was lost in the mail over a month ago.

I think it's this section and the $5 section, if you still have a $5 section. I think some stores do, but mine hasn't in over a year and when they did have it it wasn't for very long. Black Donnelley's hasn't been carried in years around here and the same for Arrested Development, except for Compton, CA. That store shows them in stock for some reason. I wish I had more TV shows, but your stores are luckier, for whatever reason.

Re: Best Buy DVD prices (August 11th - 17th, 2013)

Anyone know which Once Upon a Time BD SKU has the bonus disc?
1321025 - this one isn't in stock at any stores, but shows available for shipping
1465728 - this one shows in stock everywhere but is not available for shipping

I suspect it is the first one, since stores are likely sold out by now. But it's strange that only the 2nd one can be ordered online for shipping.
There isn't a Best Buy weekly ad thread in the BD section for this week, so figured I'd post this here. Thanks!
