Thanks OP!

Nothing for me at Target. Great price of Prometheus for those who haven't picked it up yet.

Not a single thing I'm interested in, but thanks for the list (and to the OP for the link).

Thanks for the info guys.

I'm in for "Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows" and maybe "Hugo". I was expecting season two of "Pretty Little Liars". Last year they had season one on sale.

Pretty much nothing here worth a late night jaunt, unless there are some decent unadvertised things. Gotta say, to judge by the ads, this is not shaping up to be a compelling Black Friday.

Target opens at 9:00 PM Thanksgiving day. Not exactly "late night".

Looks like about the only BD (or DVD) of interest to me in that list, I only hope it's the BD/DVD/Digital Copy version of Prometheus for $10 because if it's just for the BD, it's not much of a Black Friday deal. -kd5-

Re: Target Black Friday ad

Surprisingly sucky. They're being undercut by Walmart and BestBuy on CD and DVD prices. And why are the cheap TV's always shitty brands? I am eyeballing a $189 32-inch Panasonic, but at Best Buy.

Was a Blu-Ray (Single Disc) even made for that film?

I thought at least for Target/Best Buy, the only ones I saw on release day were the BD/DVD/Digital Copy and the 4-Disc (3D)

From the looks of that Ad, it looks like it is this one:

Hadn't even looked at all the various releases for Prometheus, I just assumed they'd do like most other BDs and offer a plain single disc, a BD+DVD+DC, and the requisite 3D bundle (maybe even a gift-box set, the way they're releasing these lately). I couldn't tell which release it would be from the pic in the ad (only that it wouldn't be the deluxe bundle), but you're probably right, assuming Amazon has all the various releases listed for this. -kd5-

wasn't prometheus released as a 2 disc blu set? due to the near 4 hour documentary?

Thanks. Just got into the Walking Dead and 8 bucks for the first season seems to be pretty good. Hoping the 2nd season gets a sale price too somewhere.

Re: Target Black Friday ad

I'm trying to understand the Target ad, let me know if I'm wrong:

1. Doorbusters are labeled in the ad in red, roughly one on every page.
2. 4am sales are labeled in the ad in green
3. Everything else is for sale at that price at starting at 9pm

This is the way I'm reading it, anybody else reading it the same or different?
Thanks!
