Sometime in the last couple of weeks, the Target in San Pedro, CA got a Target exclusive version of Castle S4. I had never seen this before, during release week there or at any other Target, but some later research confirms that these were made. Maybe some other stores will get them in now too?

If anyone's looking for it, it has a Target Exclusive disc with 33 minutes from Paleyfest. This version comes in an alternate slipcover that looks something like a police casefile.

After some careful negotiating (read: pleading), I was able to swap my unopened S4 regular version for this one. Though cust. service only refunded me the release week price of $34.99 and expected me to pay Saturday's price of $44 or $45. Luckily I had one of those $10 off ABC coupons with me and wound up with a net refund of $1.65. I could have tried to price match Amazon (who was selling it for $27.99 yesterday), but I didn't want to push my luck, especially given that I had only paid $8.60-something (with tax) for this originally.

That is awesome. I have seen the Castle exclusive and the price keeps me from buying it. How is the Paleyfest portion? Worth it for such a high price? (I'm more interested in Nathan content than I am in the rest of the cast.)

I would like to get the Spiderman exclusive with the bonus disc. However, it's so close to Black Friday week and I think spending $22.99 for the BD right now would be a waste and I would regret it in a few weeks. Then again, I have no plans to stand in line at Target on Thanksgiving night.

Yeah, it is. Just got mine. Target had rows of Blu Ray sets, all with the bonus DVD shrink wrapped inside the slipcovers and exactly two copies of the 3D Blu Ray sets, both with the bonus DVD as well.

Have mine as well.

The run time is 18:53 minutes, no menu screen it just plays.

I'll rebuy the DVD later, when it hits ten bucks or so

Thanks! It looks like their price next week will be better, hopefully you'll be able to pick it up then.

I actually haven't watched it yet (I hadn't watched the other one in a month and a half either). I always want the best possible version, so it was definitely worth it to me (especially given the price), but I'll try to watch it as soon as I can and let you know.

If anyone was wondering, their sales this week was .50 cents off $7.50 titles and $1.00 off $10.00 titles.

This was definitely the worst week that I can remember.

No deals on Spiderman in any of the BF ads, especially this one with the bonus disc. Looks like I'm going to have to pull the trigger here.
