One of the places I visit online from time to time is a Baptist website. Okay, first off I'm an atheist, so that explains why I visit. I'm not going to comment, just gonna let the quote speak for itself. Topic; the movie "Dolphin Tale".
It's about a boy who rescues a dolphin whose tail was caught and injured in a crab trap. After the dolphin is helped, its tail is removed due to injury and everyone in the movie spends their precious time - time that they could have been used to serve Jesus and read the Bible - to build a prosthetic tale. Have you ever heard of such a thing in all your life? But of course, that's not all. The film's hero is a young boy who develops a fetish for this dolphin and begins swimming with it, groping it, having intercourse with it, and by implication, going down on it and performing unspeakable acts on it (stomach-turning pics below). The star boy in this film (Nathan Gamble) is anti-social and shows no interest in the girl co-star (Cozi Zuehlsdorff) he meets whose dad (Harry Connick Jr.) runs the animal hospital where this dolphin is kept. This is yet another indication that the boy's uncomely lust for this sea beast was where he was getting his "action" all along. It may be rated PG, but this is boy-on-dolphin hard-core porn, plain and simple!

Anyhow, repeating from the Target post, I'm spending the weekend at a friend's home, so no updates for Games and CDs this week. Sorry.

Google and wikipedia are your friends. A bit of a search matched "Pastor Ed Lowman" with landoverbaptist.net.

It's not a Baptist website. If you want to dispute with Baptists, feel free. But please don't get us confused with these satirists. (Or with Westboro "Baptist" Church, but that's another subject best left for a non-Bargain thread....)

ETA: Thanks for the prices. At $9.99, I might actually pick up Green Lantern.

Colombiana actually.

If Amazon matches the HBO sale, which I'm sure they will, I'll pick up True Blood season 3, which I need.

Its always best when people don't know when something is satire. Like the few who still believe The Onion is a real news source.

Thanks John.

Nothing in the list for me but I'll check out the store anyway.

Was still $3.96 at Walmart B&M last time I looked (if you can find it). -kd5-

It's always been the full week before Christmas in the past, and it is this year too.

Film title corrected.

As for the quote, I laughed my ass off. There are far, FAR worse stuff there - some of it equally as hilarious.

They have much fear over their anuses.

Nice to know they're a fictitious group; hope for humanity, rising...

I'll probably pick up both seasons of Bored To Death and maybe another HBO show if the price is right.

Re: Best Buy Media Prices (December 18th - 24th, 2011)

I have every season of The Sopranos, but that new box set has alot of extras the old DVDs don't have. I've been tempted to double dip, but I blew alot of money on each season during the HBO sale 3 years ago.

BTW, I know there are 2 box sets floating around:

#1: With a Picture of the cast on the box

http://www.amazon.com/Sopranos-Compl...4103404&sr=8-1

#2 With just the title "The Sopranos" on it

http://www.amazon.com/Sopranos-Compl...103404&sr=8-10

One is slightly cheaper than the other. Is there any major differences otherwise?

Update.

Change of plan, I'm not going to my friends over the weekend. So I'll post the game and CDs as usual.

I'll be interested in a couple of HBO sets, but only if the price is right on Deadwood and Rome. If not, I will just wait for Amazon to have a deal on them later or someone else.

Set #2 includes a couple of CDs with music from the series. I think that's about the only difference.

Update...

Gamers:

- - -

Okay, I'm being lazy this week. I haven't gone to bed yet - it's 5:10am here.

The CDs:

Since the bottom row ($4.99) is hard to read...

"Carole King - The Carnegie Hall Concert"
"Barry White - 20th Century Masters - The Millenium Collection"
"Three Dog Night - 20th Century Masters - The Millenium Collection"
"Lynyrd Skynyrd - 20th Century Masters - The Millenium Collection"
"Santana - Between Good and Evil"
"Stevie Ray Vaughn - Martin Scorsese Presents the Blues"

I'm off to slumberland.
