I got the 7 DVD set (still unopened) from Amazon for $27.49 a long time ago. Are the individual sets not double-sided and more discs total with the same content? If so, then that would've been a better deal. I should've waited, but I can never predict my free time other than that I rarely have any (and that which I have I waste reading the Internet and posting messages like this. :-).)

Seriously nobody would buy all the King of Queens or Married with Children sets at this price when the whole series can be had for the price of 3 seasons, but for filling in blanks I guess it works.

AFAIK, the complete set is just the individual discs from the volumes in a new slipcase.

*IF* you're willing to risk those horrible DVD-18s. I never managed to get copies of the 2 season 1 sets that didn't hang/skip on at least one episode so I'm not chancing any more of them unless they're given to me. I only paid $8 each for the ones I purchased and still feel ripped off because of the bad disks...

Looks like only Green Acres and Remington Steele are $9.99 now. The rest have reverted to higher prices.

That may be true. But for $10 a season a hang up here or there on one ep isnt a big issue IMO. Part of the dvd world unfortunately. Usually rewinding up to the skip area helps and you can watch the skipped scene. I dont think I have ever bought a tv series on dvd that doesnt have at least one error. I doubt there are any tv show dvds that dont have errors.
