"Benefits cannot be combined with any other J&R Coupons, Special offers, and Third Party Website offers (including, but not limited to, points/mileage web portals)"
For something as cheap as this, that's a fair tradeoff.
In for R&B.

I ordered this at the 19.99 price. It was supposed to ship on 11/28 but I didn't receive any notice and the order status page hasn't been updated. The product has disappeared from the J&R site.

I ordered two - one to give as a present. Not sure who to give it to -
My brother who loves the Muppets and has a 6 year old?
My friend the magician/animator with a 12 and 8 year old?
Or an anonymous family - We're adopting a family for Christmas and I grabbed a gift tag that says they want "Kids DVDS". I don't know this anonymous family, you think kids will still like this show?
Plus I have Seasons 1-4 (but they are opened and that may seem like a cheesy gift)

I have to agree with Joe on this although a lot depends on the personalities of the kids, of course. The adopted family is an unknown quantity at this point, so I wouldn't get something as esoteric as this for them when they might be hoping for something they recognize as current toys and as benchmarks with other kids their ages.
On paper I would think the 12 and 8 year olds would enjoy it the most, but not if they are geared toward anime and other mega action cartoons. ROCKY and BULLWINKLE was silly stuff, but it embraced irony much in the same way some toons on Adult Swim have done, though the difference is that the former was always age appropriate. So in that sense a six year old kid might not get a lot of the humor, but he's also at an age where he could be taught to understand why R & B is such a masterpiece, whereas the older kids might be too cool for the room and reject it outright. I would say that if your brother has gotten his 6 year old into Muppet humor then that kid is probably ripe for discovering Jay Ward's universe. That's who I would choose based on your prospects.
Let us know how it turns out. It's always fun getting kids to latch onto classics that we loved at their age.

Mine says submitted as well, but I used a debit card - they say the bank will hold the funds until the item ships. The difference between my 'available balance' and 'actual balance' is 19.99, so I'll take that as a good sign.

Got my Rocky & Bullwinkle set in today. While I've seen worse designed packaging, this was still pretty bad. It took me a good 15 minutes to carefully remove each disc from the cardboard pages. Six of the discs were perfect, while the rest had some kind of scratch/scuff/residue on them. Only about three look bad enough to affect playback, so they'll be getting watched sooner rather than later.
The set has four discs crammed on each page -- two on each side, with the discs overlapping. This makes it really hard to get them out without further scratches/fingerprints. Just a really ill-conceived design. If they were going for cheap, they could had easily used those little foam dots and attached one disc on each side of the page. Of course, 9 double-disc slim cases would have been more ideal. With the $100 retail on this set, it should have at least been designed to protect the actual product.

Many of these recent sets have switched to these carboard sleeves:
Norman Lear box set,
Clint Eastwood 35 years (with book - rerelease without the "book" looks like it could have corrected this)
Simpsons s13
Futurama S5

Just got mine today. In a folded over big (padded) envelope. I'm currently already working on a short cartoon series so I might not get to this for a while - is it suggested that I go ahead and open it and go through the disks? I think I have some empty dvd cases, is it worth transferring them over?
