I haven't found anything new in a while, save the James Bond DVDs. However, I did buy Supreme 90 Day today for $4. It's a cheap version of P90X, if anyone is interested. It wasn't with the DVDs, but in the electronic section.

Redlands, CA store today.

Picked up "Plastic Man", one copy.

Repaired the slipcover with some wood glue and a small piece of paper as reinforcement. All the discs are mint. But as others voiced, I need to replace the case. I'll be on the look out for "Silver Hawks".

By the way, the DVD selection at that store has shrunk - a lot.

Bridgeport: LOTS of $5 James Bond. Looks like they got a small $3 batch that was mostly picked over. Not much other than the Bonds

Pearl: While I was told they got nothing this week, They definitely got a $6 4 film batch, some Warner, some TCM's. Remember a Presley for one. Saw 1 copy of Gilda (Hayworth) @ $5, which I grabbed as I've never seen it. Not much else. They have a ton of one of the Spanish titles & the Free Williy kids pack with the Blue Handle.

Hit Pearl Street (Tacoma, WA) today (delivery day). Not sure if they got a small $5 batch or nothing new. Saw one copy of one title new to me @ $5: Just For You/Here Comes the Groom (Bing Crosby/Ethel Barrymore/Jane Wyman) Paramount.

I can't stand Crosby; or i would have seriously considered it for the 2 female leads.

Wow! Now that's a rarity of someone not liking Der Bingle. His Christmas album can get pretty annoying if played multiple times, but his movies were OK, especially the Road to...movies with him and Bob Hope.

For anyone in the Kansas City, KS area, the State Avenue store still has not received any new DVD shipments. (Well they did get in several copies of a 90 day workout routine, but that's all)

I'm hoping they get in the 4 sided display as I'd like to pick up SilverHawks and Plastic Man. As far as SilverHawks goes, besides Amazon, I've noticed that Wal-Mart has dropped their in-store price down to $10 -- still more but at least it's readily available. But I think I'll wait a little more to see if Big Lots gets any sets in.

Still no signs of the four sided display in the Sanford/Longwood FL area. I did find some MGM titles I don't ever remember seeing at Big Lots.

Had few more of these MGM titles in my hand trying to decide which to buy. Looking over the last section of the display something else caught my attention. Season 4 of The Incredible Hulk for $3. Saw no other TV seasons that haven't already been there forever. A new hunt begins,

I went into my BL for the first time in a month or two, and I still walked out empty-handed. Only reason I went is I had to go to the place next door to BL. BL had 1 display of $5 DVDs that was new to the store, but it's mostly the same old stuff. Then the normally full 4-sided tower had been squeezed from 4 sides to 3 sides making the DVDs so tightly packed that it was almost impossible to see the ones at the back without removing each column (normally I try to read the stickers on the top but a lot of DVDs don't have those any more). The 4th side of the display was now books. Maybe someday I'll find a DVD I want at BL.

Still nothing new at the Culver City, CA BL. Two four sided displays with nothing but old stock filling them. Curiously, few copies left of that epic Chris Kattan western everyone loves. My best guess is that they are spontaneously combusting.

It's gotten so bad here that I've pretty much stopped getting out of bed early on delivery days to call my contacts. Once others post that new stuff is arriving I'll try to get motivated again!

Saw most of the newer MGM titles at the Albany NY store as well as:

Witness for the Prosecution
12 Angry Men

Both are the 1957 versions. 12 Angry Men was the "Decades" edition. Didn't look like there were any special features except maybe the trailer on either.
