Must buy the upcoming Island Of Lost Souls DVD! Price is outlandish! HELP!

If you are a member at Bn, then use a coupon during release week at bn.com. That would probably be cheapest if need it now. Otherwise wait for DD big sale or BN criterion sale. This is for DVD version. The BD version is probably cheaper elsewhere. BN.com also tends to have decent price only during its initial release week. You have to wait until the release week to use coupon as they wont let you use it for preorders.

Every July and November, B&N has 50% off all Criterions. Add membership discount, and a coupon or two, and one can get Criterion BDs for $13 or even less, ymmv.
