Looks like the ones mentioned in recent posts are now out of stock. Oh well...happy to have placed a good size order the day this was posted. And if I had ordered Veronica Mars, Tales From the Crypt, Night Court, etc. it would have been for 1-2 seasons I was missing from each.

Damn, I can't believe I missed this. Would have really liked to have gotten ER and Dallas for so cheap. I am, however, going to order The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr. since it's never been that cheap on Amazon before.

At some point, the prices on some items never showed until in cart. I missed it but never tried it in my cart. Others claimed it was available.

I believe the Dallas set had the price raised before the sale was even posted on Slick Deals. I'm betting virtually no one got in on that one.

One person on the SD forum claims that they called up customer service and mentioned that the Dallas collection was still showing up as $16 until you clicked on the item page. The customer service person supposedly agreed to add it to his order for $16. Can you imagine? No wonder those prices were pulled so fast!

Tales From The Crypt still shows up in-cart as $12 (!) so I included that along with Mr. Show and The Adventures Of Brisco County, Jr. I didn't reach $60 for free shipping, but I wasn't going to quibble over $5 shipping for such great prices.

I ended up getting the Babylon 5 set and The Adventures of Brisco County Jr.

Now I just have to keep myself from buying much the next few weeks unless it is just a super deal. Got a few medical bills that I am close to paying off from being in the hospital for a couple months 2 years ago and subsequent stuff. But what I got from here (and from Borders closing) will keep me plenty busy watching stuff for a while I think.

^ Ive paid off bills before and its not that big of a deal, dont think of it in any way because bills will always come and go. But last month I made the last payment for my hospital bill , as soon as I clicked send payment, seems like the dark cloud blew away and a big weight was lifted off my shoulders.

Yep. I limit myself to 1 purchase of something each month unless I have giftcards or something. Of course I am also looking at grad school since I graduated last December and haven't had any luck.

I budget it each month unlike some people I know who just hut what they wasn't and have no regard for what it means financially.

CRYPT actually beats the much heralded Big Lots price of a few years ago when separate sets of the first six seasons were selling for $3.00 each. The allegedly dreadful 7th season never showed up at BL, so for $17.00, this is a dollar + BL tax cheaper and complete. I'm tempted to pick it up, but what do I do with all my individual sets? I'm sure they aren't selling for much.

It's amazing how you often think "there's no way a deal gets better than this". Only to see at some point that it does!

I'm still glad to have found them at Big Lots since I've watched 4 of the first 6 seasons already to this point. And since the reviews are less than glowing about that final season, I think I'm ok with skipping over the deal here and being content with what I've got.
