I was at Target today and found some cheap $5 tv shows on dvd.
I found:

My own worst enemy: Complete series
Bionic Woman (remake series): Complete series
Coach: Season 1
Kathy Griffen My life on the D-list: Season 1

I don't remember any others off hand, but i think their was a few more.
I bought "My Own Worst enemy", I had been looking for that at Big lots when i heard people were finding it their for $3, but i never did see it show up at any. So I was glad to finally find it, I really liked the show.

Starhunter, Black Beauty Complete, a few others. It seems to Vary from store to store.

Bionic Woman is also at Big Lots for $3.

Starhunter sounds good, been looking forward to get that one for years. $5 is a real bargain.

I think the Bionic Woman at Big Lots is just Vol 2, isn't it???
I found Starhunter a few weeks back at Target, but was just at the one in Fayetteville last night, and they didn't have any of the other shows mentioned above, drat!

The bionic woman is just the whole series..wasnt many episodes..
Starhunter has 2 different boxes. One is a double cased set in a cardboard box, and the other is single case in a cardboard box. Same contents. Its a steal at $5

Thanks got Starhunter and Own Enemy. I also saw some show called Lexx Season 1. Never heard of it so I passed.

At $5 per season, a great deal. An excellent show, one of Paul Haggis' early efforts. Be aware, though, that the American releases pack on six shows per disc, so the video quality isn't great. Lotsa motion artifacts. Still, it's so much fun that I don't mind.

So yesterday I got Due South: Season 2 from the Target in the next town.
They didn't have season 1 or Starhunter.

I looked up both on the Target site and the nearest one that had both of those was in a town 10 miles away. I took the chance this morning and drove over there and they had 4 or 5 of Due South: Season 1 in stock and only two copies of Starhunter.

FYI: The copy of Due South: Season 2 I got was in a single keep case with all the discs on a single spindle. None of them was scratched, so that's good.
Season 1 came in 2 keep cases and each disc in it's own place.

Lexx is awesome, have I said I hate ADV in this thread yet? Was kind of pissed when I saw seasons 1 & 2 at Target for $5 each.

I had to import season one.

Should've picked it up, it's a pretty bizarre series, too bad they never got any other seasons of it. I waited and got it on sale for $4.75 (a penny saved, or in this case a quarter saved...:p). -kd5-

Yep... Lexx here too. S1 & S2 - I picked up both at that price. If you're a sci-fi fan it's just too strange a series not to own.

The store here has:

Lexx - S1 & S2 (picked up S1 a month ago, last week S2 showed up - these are the new releases from Echo Bridge)
Third Rock From the Sun - S1 & S2 (Mill Creek)
Grounded for Life - S1 & S2 (Mill Creek)
Starhunter
Charles in Charge - S1

And a few others - mostly those "Best of..." releases from Mill Creek.

Be advised that the first season of Lexx isn't really a season; it consists of 4 TV movies. Season 2 is a proper season of 22 or so episodes. Not saying you shouldn't check it out; both are a great bargain at $5 each.

I saw Season 3 of Due South at the Target in Fayetteville yesterday, with the other 2 seasons as well. Can't beat that price!

Picked up Mercy season 1 for $5 also in the same section was WWE: Edge - A Decade of Decadence for the same price.

Edit: Don't particularly care for the fact that the 3 discs are stacked one on top of the other in this standard keepcase, and none of the discs are numbered, but I guess that for $5 I can overlook these minor inconveniences. I put little 1/2" x 3/4" paper self-stick labels on each of the discs, numbering them, I hope the stickers don't upset the balance of the discs in the drive.
