I agree with you on Hepburn, I have never been a big fan of hers .(though I do like Holiday,Bringing Up Baby and African Queen).
But a little Hepburn goes a long way.....

The Mitchum box has dropped to $28, which is as low as I have seen it.

While I was there, I noticed Stanley Kramer Film Collection (Guess Who's Coming to Dinner / Ship of Fools / The Member of the Wedding / The Wild One / The 5,000 Fingers of Dr. T) is $11.42 by a third-party seller fulfilled by Amazon.

OK- things are getting more interesting by the minute. The Flynn box is 17 bucks today at Amazon. The lowest I've ever seen it.

PS- Flynn Signature Set Vol. 2 is $15.30 today.

Only caveat is that Big Lots had this recently for $5. I actually bought several as gifts for $4 each using a 20% off Buzz Club coupon. If you're on the fence about this one, you might look for it at BL if you're intending to check out their sales.

I agree with Drake on HOLIDAY and BRINGING UP BABY, two movies where Hepburn is actually charming and appealing. Can't go along on AFRICAN QUEEN though, which is down on my list of fave Bogarts and Hustons. But I would have sprung five bucks for the Blu Ray if I hadn't been caught asleep when that deal rolled through town.

TCM archive Forbidden Hollywood sets 2 and 3 are each around 16.99 from amazon.

Last year WB shop beat these prices on Black Friday. Don't know their plans this year.

Universal Pre code set is 11.49 fulfilled through amazon. This is a great set at a fantastic price and no chance it will be at WB shop as a Universal title..

I've been keeping my eyes on that Universal. It is a great price. I'm getting a bit concerned that I'm overspending my budget the last couple months!!

I'm also starting to feel like others have posted; the next 6 months - 1 year may be the last chance to get these classics on factory pressed discs. But if my home gets foreclosed, where will I store them..........?

This is a great price for the set, which not so long ago was going for much higher as it was presumed to be OOP. I kept thinking TO HAVE and BIG SLEEP would end up on Blu, but WB doesn't seem to be interested in really old stuff on Blu anymore. Apparently the titles they've released thus far (FALCON, MADRE, et al.) have not sold well. So this may be your last chance to get three and a half genuine classic Bogart films on pressed DVD with great extras.

There does not appear to be a comprehensive (all in one) collection of any of the Hammer monster series. Looks like you have to piece together a Frankenstein (sorry no pun intended), Dracula, or Mummy marathon. Anyone know why?
