I always love Fry's 1-day sales (NOT). They must think gas grows on trees and people can afford to drive there daily. You'd think with gas as expensive as it is they'd stick to the usual Friday-Thursday ads.
Since they won't hold items for in-store pickup beyond the sale dates, ordering today and picking up tomorrow doesn't work on 1-day sale items. I do have to go there tomorrow to pick up an amp they're supposed to be holding for me since Friday, but I obviously won't be getting any of their 1-day sale items. It's bizarre seeing Terminator and Usual Suspects BDs for $14.99 when they are $7.99 at Target and I think they've been even cheaper on Amazon. They, along with Master & Command and Rocky, have often been on sale for well under $10. |
